Languages and I
This picture describes my everyday life and my being perfectly. No matter where I would go, those lines were always around.
When people meet me and get to know about my passion, they usually come along with something similar such as Quot linguas calles, tot homines vales which is an equivalent to As many languages as you speak, so many individuals are you worth. (They don't use the Latin version though - we speak Croatian in this part of the world. I just stumbled across the Latin version since it's a "product" of the Roman Empire xD)
I don't know if that's true or not since you can't mesure something like that just by adding one language after another...oh well that's my opinion :)
But what I am sure about, is that all polyglots do what they love and what they're good at. Learning languages is more than just a pile of books full of words, sentences, dialogues, grammar points...it's a possibility to communicate in a new way, to connect with people and share new things. Being able to just speak a little bit of the target language can be so exciting and the moment when you're proud of yourself because of that, is p r i c e l e s s :)
