Linguistics Resources: Age and Language Learning
In preparation for my upcoming Youtube video titled “Learning to Babble”, I’ve provided some background information on the topics of child language acquisition, critical period hypothesis, adult foreign language pronunciation and language learning as an adult, which it would help to be familiar with.
While I did skim through each source, I have not read through or fact checked each one on the list in its entirety, so if any source seems to contain incorrect details or is outdated, please let me know and I will remove it from future reblogs. Also feel free to send in links to more infos on this topic in other languages and I will add them to the list as well.
