For your lotr au sketches, what does that make Winry? Is she a dwarf too? Does she poke fun at Ed cause she can grow a beard and he cant? Is she an elf? (And howd they meet if she is) You got me laughing and questioning everything lol

there’s really no good explanation for this other than @alagaesia-overlord and I were chatting that a lotr style fmaAU would be fun and then I didn’t have a dnd sesh today so I had All Kinds of nerdy energy to burn off and all of these just sort of Appeared and anyways how did you all spend your Sunday night

as a bit more of an explanation we started out just fucking around deciding what races everyone would be and that eventually transitioned into a discussion on how greedling would end up working in a lord of the ring’s type environment

originally the easiest solution was just to have the sins be rings of power that corrupt their hosts, since that’s a fun parallel, but since ling is an elf and elves are OP as fuck we decided the only way that would work is if ling got severely weakened- at this point one of us remembered morgul blades were a thing so it was decided ling while fighting wrath gets grazed by a morgul blade and that’s how he gets lowered to the point a ring of power could actually take him over and turn him into a wraith 

bad news now is ring wraiths are sort of a one stop trip so recovering from that is uhhhh a fun problem
