Since I’m back on my Lunar Chronicles hype, just finished Scarlet which is probably my favorite book out of the whole series(idk idk hard to pick a favorite child) but with the movies being confirmed to come out in a few years, I definitely wonder how Scarlet is gonna turn out seeing as how it’s not exactly as family friendly as Cinder. Like I imagine most of it is gonna have to be reworked just with the whole concept of Scarlet’s grandmother being kidnapped and tortured, then of course she has to watch her get brutally murdered. Then there’s the whole end fight scene with Wolf and his brother that was slightly gore-y. I just wonder how much they can keep true to since I imagine the movies are gonna be more marketed/centered towards older children, but still children yk. I just think the all of the action at the end makes the buildup throughout those first two books so much more satisfying I guess we’ll see but yes I do think they should have me in the room where scripts are being written up.
