I don’t really miss them since I don’t remember them. But I do think about them a lot and am grateful they were able to get me to the forest.

Hey Vaati what kind of book do you like to read?(I read comic book manga such as Zelda Minish Cap, Ocarina of Time and many of theme!)

I like to read a lot of novels and then I really mean a LOT, considering I’m pretty much of a ‘book eater’ and ‘bookworm’… Haha. No unread, interesting enough looking novel is safe from me nowadays.

(when I was little, I greatly disliked it to read, though)

Not to mention that, my books have become a way to escape reality with when life isn’t going that great at certain moments.

Anyhow, prepare yourself for my ‘the books I like to read’ - list since it’s going to be a long one.

The kind of novels I like to read are:

1. The Legend of Zelda (Manga)

I’ve all of the ten Zelda Manga plus the Skyward Sword manga in my Hyrule Historia book, with Minish Cap and Four Swords Part One and Two being my absolute favourite Manga. I also plan on buying the Legendary Minish Cap Manga edition, as well as the Four Swords one and Twilight Princess part one and two sometime..

2 Invader Zim (comic book based on the TV series of Invader Zim that used to be broadcasted on Nickelodeon back in 2001)

So far, I’ve only read the first Invader Zim comic book. I might consider buying a second Invader Zim comic book since I can’t get enough of the invader ever since I’ve seen the TV series on Nickelodeon, which I highly enjoyed (even now, despite it being off of the air for almost 16 years. It is coming back with a movie, though. At least I hope so)

3. Kuroshitsuij (or “Black Butler’’ in English, manga that has been turned into an anime)

Black Butler is, in case you don’t know, a manga about a boy with the name Ciel Phantomhive. On the day of his birthday, he tragically loses his parents to a fire and gets kidnapped… Anyhow, as he has been kidnapped, he manages to summon a demon with his moment of rage towards his captor and the people laughing at him during an auction where he is being sold. This demon, which takes on the form of a butler named Sebastian, makes a deal with him, agreeing on being Ciel’s butler until he has gotten his revenge on the person behind his parents’ death as well as the people behind all the suffering he had to go through, in exchange for his soul.It’s a pretty good (but rather dark) manga series as well as anime.

For now I’ve only read Black Butler volume one and two but I might buy more in the near future. Black Butler takes, just like the MirrorWorld novel series place during the 18th, early 19th century.

4. Inkheart / The Inkworld series (novel trilogy written by Cornelia Funke)

These novels were pretty great! Like, honestly. They were the first novels to really get me into reading after I (as well as my parents) considered I had grown a bit too old for the novels I used to read during my childhood. ^_^’Inkheart basically was a trilogy about a girl, Meggie, who had the ability to read novel characters out of their stories. It was really interesting. Ever since finishing those series, I continued reading more and more, the books only getting thicker and thicker because I wouldn’t be quite satisfied with a book that didn’t have that many pages.

5. Reckless / The MirrorWorld series (novel series written by Cornelia Funke)

If there’s ONE novel series NO ONE can get me nor my attention away from, it’s the MirrorWorld series. These novels are, in my opinion, a more ‘grown - up’ - like version of the InkWorld series.

The MirrorWorld series contains things such as treasure hunting, thievery, mentions of fairytales from different countries, love, betrayal, wars, duels and whatnot. Unlike InkWorld, MirrorWorld is much more gloomy and filled with scary yet thrilling moments. As of now, I’ve read the first novel ’'Reckless I: the Petrified Flesh”, the second one “Reckless II: Living Shadows” and “Reckless III: The Golden Yarn. Currently, I’m impatiently waiting for ’'Reckless IIII: Islands of the Fox” to be released.

If you’re looking for a (really) good novel series to read, I highly recommend to maybe try out the MirrorWorld series written by Cornelia Funke. It’s main protagonist kind of reminds me of Link even though the both of them come from a very different universe.

6. The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling

Maybe I haven’t read all of the Harry Potter novels just yet, but I enjoyed “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” and “The Tales of Beedle the Bard” quite a lot after seeing all of the eight movies. I’ve yet to read “Harry Potter & the Halfblood Prince”, but it’s standing on my shelf, ready to be read.

7. The Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan

These novels were nice and sparked an interest for Greek mythology.I’ve to admit I found “Percy Jackson” and the Sea of Monsters a few times better than “Percy Jackson & the Lightning Thief” maybe due to there being a bit more action in “Percy Jackson & the Sea of Monsters’, I don’t know.

I hope I didn’t scare you with the amount of books I like to read. It’s obvious I’m really into ‘high fantasy’, 'dark fantasy’ and 'supernatural’ genres. =)
