Joanna looked up at her friend’s daughter, brow knitting itself in concern as she looked at the girl. She was no stranger to illness herself, after all she had not always been a healthy child, her youngest brother even less so…but she quickly knelt before the girl, and looked her in the eyes.
“Elia, sweetling…does your mother know? If not, we’d best tell her. She might know better than I,” she finally murmured, hand laying gently across the girl’s forehead, her emerald eyes dark with concern.
Being ill all the time meant that she tended to minimize whatever she was feeling, because everyone seemed to get worried each time she mentioned it.
However, her mother had told her to stop trying to keep silent -- it had had bad consequences in the past.
She supposed she felt tired, having ran around too much again. It happened frequently when she overexercised herself. She tended to ignore the first warning signs, wanting to play more with Oberyn.
“Isn’t she busy ? I think I simply ran too much. My legs feel sore and I am tired,” she said, nestling herself in her armchair.
