First Snow
The winter palace was dreadful to Dorian, if only because it was full of Orlesian nobles, he was trying to stay out of Cullen’s way - the man in that uniform did things to him he really wouldn’t want out in the open.
He was halfway through the evening when a pretty Orlesian boy - a bit older than him, probably, but with looks that made him younger and lips that were red as blood already, flushed from alcohol - came upon him, and he started doing what he did best.
Flirting.
He would get this boy into a bedroom in no time, and his whole body was aching for the release and relaxation he managed to get from laying with another man. He couldn’t really do anything else than go into it, dragging the youth to a corner where they stood close, almost flush, as he spoke soft, daring words.
"You will have to save me! I simply cannot go to another one of these balls!" [lioninskyhold]
Aria blinked at the man, over her book. Using it to hide her laughter “but I thought the balls were lots of fun, lots of mingling and things.” she said, lowering the book to show her grin “And you’re the commander you have to make an appearance. Where as, she as a simple healer and under Bull’s command and only loaned to the Inquisitor’s forces, was not forced to do anything.
She giggled softly “and you look so dashing in your best dress.” she added, blushing “what could I do anyway?”
"Are you sleeping okay?" [lioninskyhold]
Aria rubbed her eyes again, how many times had she done that today? was it that obvious? She looked over to Cullen, freshly bundled herbs before her, a lie right on the tip of her tongue but like with Bull she just couldn’t get it out.
“No…” she sighed finally, the stress each time some of the Chargers went out with the inquisiter or even Cullen, thinking they may not come back was starting to get to her. This could be the end of the world as they all know it and it was weighing on her.
And she didn’t want to admit to anyone that her dreams lately had been filled with a demon trying to tempt her with promises of power to help them. “No..I’m not…”
She was afraid to sleep.
I Dream of Lyrium
Enna had been nice enough to let her use his ‘office’ for her work. Lyrium wasn’t exactly something she wanted to work with when around things that may or may not explode if touched with it.
However the potions for him and for the other few mages needed to be made so they had a stock, and since it didn’t bother her and the Apothecary was busy, she had volunteered. The blue glow emitted from under the door while she worked, grinding stones down to the powder she could use to make into liquid form, she already had a few bottles stored to the side.
There was a clatter of pens and the flutter of papers behind her and when she turned, the Inquisition's commander was just bending down to gather what he had, apparently, just dropped. "Maker's breath!", he muttered and when he noticed her watching, he straightened immediately, rubbing his neck. "Apologies. I ... was ... distracted." [lioninskyhold]
Aria offered a kind smile, and set down her bag of potions and salves she was distributing in favor of moving to his side. That kind smile turned to amused as she knelt to help him gather up his items “It’s alright Commander, what was it that distracted you so?”
"I might be considered a gluton for punishment, but you do still owe me a game. As a chance to redeem myself." [lioninskyhold]
“And you think you will have a better chance this time, Commander?” He smirked, his smile soon turning pleasant. “Well of course, lead the way.”
