Done with my reference sheet. Really like how it turned out. I've had this bag since 3rd grade and I still carry it with me sometimes so of course I added it in.
To add some other stuff
From a young age, Dora has loved Pokemon of every kind, though she did take a particular liking to dragon types. She constantly read books on Pokemon, particularly their biology, and studied the Pokedex a lot. She interacted with Pokemon every chance she got and attempted to make friends with every single one. She couldn't wait for the day she would get her very own Pokemon partner.
Dora was very interested in Unovan folklore and the legends of the unovan dragons. She dreamt of meeting Reshiram or Zekrom some day.
This is one of the reasons she idolized Hilda after news made it of her legendary battle with N. You can see in Dora's clothing choices throughout the story that they are inspired by Hilda, her hat for example.
Dora lives in a medium-sized city near Aspertia.
Her closest family consists of her mother, father and five years younger brother.
Dora's father used to be a semi-professional Pokemon trainer of some success before he started working an office job later in life, but he still participates in tournaments from time to time. He has a Druddigon and Lycanroc on his team.
Dora's mother is not so fond of Pokemon. She doesn't mind them, but she doesn't want much to do with them. The only reason she has a Pokemon at all is because she had a short phase in her childhood where she wanted a member of the elemental monkey family and ended up getting one. If she didn't, she would have changed her mind at some point and never had a Pokemon. She has a Panpour that helps her water her plants.
Dora's mother especially does not like battles, but she and Panpour can battle in self-defense if necessary.
She is not fond of the fact that both her children are so into Pokemon and that they focus so much on battling. She also kind of hates that they have multiple Pokemon, a lot of them big and/or dangerous. But she is happy that they have other passions too, and hopes that they focus on those later in life.
Dora's brother is by all means the complete opposite of Dora, both in qualities and personality. They are both very inteligent, but in different ways. He's also very blunt and sometimes brash.
He is into Pokemon battling, but also robotics and programming. He doesn't specialize in a single type, but he is quite fond of poison types.
In real life, my brother is one of those people who never reuse their old Pokemon team in new games, and he generally doesn't have favorites among all his teammates throughout the games. So I gave Dora's brother a Stoutland and Crobat, since they are some of his more prominent Pokemon I battled, and for the rest of his Pokemon I'm not sure.
The Aspertia trainer school existed before Cheren opened a gym there, so Dora went there for one year in preparation for getting her first Pokemon. There she met Hugh and they became friends.
I also answered some more detailed OC asks here.
Okay, done with the exposition now.
