Highly commended! Following on from my last post, these four are shades that I know will be in my regular rotation of Lipsense colours. Samon is perfect for spring and summer outdoor fun. It is super bright - almost neon - and coral, so not everyone’s cup of tea but that won’t stop me trying to get everyone to try it. I think we need more bright fun colours like this in the world. Hazelnut was my first Lipsense and so will always have a special place in my heart. A beautiful modern brown - not too dark but not too light - it’s good for when you want to look like you’re wearing something but not wear a pink or red. Strawberry Shortcake is just the nicest hot pink around. It is very close to one of my favourite MAC shades - All Fired Up - and I love it for days when you want to add a pop of colour. Mulled Wine - anyone who has known me a while knows that I have a deep love for dark vampy lip colours, and Mulled Wine fills that vacancy. It’s a tricky colour to apply - I recommend layering with another shade (I use Icicle) to help it go on smoothly. Honestly, there aren’t many Lipsense shades I can’t see myself wearing again, but these eight are my top picks... at least until I try the other 18 in the range. Plus the special editions. Okay, so I know the light is completely different, but these photos are taken 12 hours apart (first photo just now and second photo 8.30 this morning) and both my eyeshadow and my lipstick are still in place. Admittedly, if I was going to be kicking on I would touch up my lipstick - there's a couple of wear patches that are noticeable when I talk, but I reckon that's still pretty good for 12 hours! Lucky for me, I'm not kicking on. No, I'm off to take this makeup off then have an early night, and I'm so happy about it.
