TOBACCO’s sound is ever changing but can be described as dirty, sweaty, hairy, loud, violent, sexy, grimey, explosive goodness. Every track seems to be as alien as human existence playing on every emotion in the spectrum. Lipstick Destroyer pulls and rips and gnaws and tears at you leaving your brain exhausted but your ears wanting more. It comes off with almost an innate sexiness that only your id can explain.

Tobacco - Lipstick Destroyer
As a blogger and as an overall music fan, there are several labels I admire for their output and their consistency — Volcom Entertainment, is one of them, especially when it comes to hearing stuff that simply kicks ass. Volcom recently released two split 7” records as part of their Vinyl Club. The second of their new releases in the Vinyl Club include a split 7” single with Tobacco and Black Bananas — hey, both band names are at least memorable in some way!
"Hey Rockin'" is Black Bananas' contribution to the split 7" and much like “Lipstick Destroyer,” this single is a buzzing genre-mashing track with big, 808 style beats and incredible guitar solos.

I finally ordered the Tobacco/Black Bananas split 7" and all you should too because it's pretty rad.
