What’s your favourite literary trope?
Looking back at what I usually read/watch, and it feels like Reluctant Hero is very much a recurring theme. But usually that makes me want to slap the main character. who is usually the Reluctant Hero. Which doesn't really answer your question. Well. Give me flowers and I'll be happy. Woo-ing. Why is there so little woo-ing?
If you could inhabit any fictional world which one would you choose?
If I got to be a Hobbit as well, I wouldn't mind living in middle-earth. Pre-adventures. I'd say Azeroth, but the constant state of war is a bit off-putting.
What’s your favourite film that’s not in your native language?
This is a tough one, because Swedish movies have a tendency to make me cringe and I don't usually watch movies when I can't understand what they're saying. Because I get lost. But I quite liked Moliére.
What was your favourite fairytale as a child?
I liked the three pigs and the wolf that huffed and puffed. And Goldilocks, until someone called me that in school and suddenly I didn't like it anymore.
If you could only read one book for the rest of your life what would that book be?
That's not a fair question. One book? For the rest of my life? Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I actually have multiple copies of that one. Or, if audiobooks count as my one one book, and can't be used to circumvent said rule, one of the How to train your dragon books because David Tennant.
What are your five favourite pairings?
Harry/Charlie, Harry/Luna, Stiles/Isaac.. uh, I like Dimstrade.. Bilbo/Bofur is definitely growing on me, Bofur is a sweetheart.
What’s your comfort food?
If I wasn't too lazy to make it, potato salad. Hands down. As it is, Kladdkaka is up there because that takes me less than an hour if I've got everything and it's chocolatey.
Name your fondest memory.
I spent Christmas, and my birthday, with Nana one year. It was rather nice, apparently she'd made an effort to not drink while I was there, and there was cake and bonding and we did stuff together and it snowed. I didn't so much like the snow, but my cousins loved it because there was snow in Houston, they borrowed my coat and hat and made snow angels.
List the top five most played songs in your iTunes library.
I opted to take my spotify top list, because I don't really use itunes. because spotify. And apparently my top 5 are all songs from the Pitch Perfect soundtrack. Followed by the Nightmare before Christmas soundtrack. I wonder how often that gets updated? Because I know I've listened to the Cabaret and Les Mis songs way more. but not as recently.
What are your current obsessions.
The Hobbit. Well, the dwarves in the Hobbit. Bifur. Nailpolish oddly enough. I currently want all the nailpolish. well, all the sparkly blues and greens and purples.
