For the longest time I've wanted a technique to work white on black, negative to positive, I've peaked on tons of stuff and whiteout on black paper seem to be the most practical, accessible and cheap for me. On my comics I've always found an scene or two that would had made more sense on a technique like this, where darkness and shadows are so dense painting them will be a waste of ink. That's something I tried to capture with this piece, really strong and large shadows, a piece that would had been crazy to do in ink and I'm very happy it came out like this.
I actually went outside at night to look for this scene, I did one study in the place, took a photo, did a study from the photo and then made this piece which I feel is final enough.
This will be on the exhibition and that's making me so nervous.
