Im rereading the Old Kingdom Trilogy and its so funny to see the differences in the main characters/main narratprs, like

Book One, Sabriel: a mostly competent teen girl fighting the horrors (and a cat and a guy are there too)

Book Two, Lirael: three teens are literally having the worst days of their lives in parallel and its all going downhill from there (and there's a dog this time!)

I haven't finished book 2 yet, but it's truly amazing how these teens are being put into the meat grinder of life. Fun!

If they ever make the Old Kingdom books into a movie or show, I need the Disreputable Dog to be voiced by Gwendoline Christie. Thank you
