To celebrate their 40th Anniversary, Opera Philadelphia held their annual gala on Friday, September 12 at the Academy of Music on the Avenue of the Arts. Mayor Michael Nutter and First Lady Lisa Nutter served as honorary chairs of the evening, which featured recital performances by soprano Ailyn Pérez and tenor Stephen Costello.
