To be fair, he’s a former shl-player and his career ended early because of too many concussions. So he might have some insight here.

I think he has insight on his situation but he's in no way qualified to make a statement like the one he made. I just think its dangerous when we try to substitute our opinions for medical judgement. So saying that he could not recover in that time is totally irresponsible and uninformed. It is like saying everyone with an illness is qualified to diagnosis and treat that illness in others. I mean how far has concussion treatment come an they are completely rethinking treatments and protocols to this day. Not to mention that he basically called Sid and his doctors liars.

Hi! I'm really confused about the US media reporting about the Chapel Hill murders, are they really not describing it as a racist hate-crime? It seems so strange because yesterday around noon both Swedish radio and news websites reported it as a hate-crime done by a white man who has made anti-muslim/anti-religion remarks and posts. (Sorry, I hope my strange english makes sense...)

Well, that's good that your radio reported it that way. It's mostly just people just to play it down as a "parking dispute" which is insane. Murdering one person, let alone THREE people of the same religion/race is inexcusable. It's clear what it is, and some news reports and people in general are playing it down as a lot less. It's really sad.
