Jisoo saw you swaying your body back and forth to the rhythm of the music sitting on the chair, but she knows you well enough not to propose a dance in the middle of the party room full of people.
Lisa also knows you well, but prefers to propose anyway.
“Come on, sweetie, come dance with me”
“I’m fine, Lili”
“She doesn’t want to be the center of attention with your weird dance moves” Jisoo teases your girlfriend.
“Hey, I don’t have weird moves, right dollface?”
“She’s too good to admit that, right love?” you feel your face warm up from the excessive use of pet names and your girlfriends competing to know whose side you're on.
“I just don’t feel like dancing”
“Really?” she arches an eyebrow. “Because I could have sworn you were moving to the beat of the music”
“Just leave her alone” Jisoo rolls her eyes affectionately and pulls your chair closer to hers so she can hug you. “You want to go dancing instead of letting us have our moment”
“Let's do this, I'll go ahead and then you'll come too. You will see that there is no need to be shy, no one cares if you dance well here”
She gets up and as predicted, she goes to the middle of the dance floor and as your girlfriend had said, she has some rather… unique moves. However, you can't help but laugh at her silliness and lack of concern for whether others are watching or not.
“Only you to make me put up with this dork” Jisoo says smiling and you know she’s just joking.
Lisa has always been your source of energy and happiness, you are the perfect balance. When you want adventure and a good challenge you have Lisa, when you want comfort and awkward conversations you have Jisoo and you have the perfect balance between the two. And that’s how you work out.
You can see her coming towards you, dancing non-stop and pointing for you to join her.
You can't help but laugh. “You’re embarrassing me!” she can't hear you because of the loud music, but she can still read your lips.
“I think we better go before she does something worse, like calling our names into the microphone” you involuntarily grimace remembering when Lisa was drunk, found a microphone in the middle of the party and in addition to calling your names, made a declaration in front of everyone.
You get up, still uncertain, and Jisoo holds your hand to the dance floor. You thought she was going to let go, but she kept holding on and moving from side to side to encourage you to do the same.
This has happened thousands of times, all in different ways. Jisoo says nothing and gestures for you to dance together and Lisa insists nonstop with words of encouragement for you to go dancing. And it always ends with the three of you, together, as it always has been and always should be.
