Exploring Mira with L? :> (also you're amazing, thank you for existing!!!)
aaaa thank you!!!!!
Honeslty as soon as this ask came in I was so looking forward to working on it…
Primordia was where NLA was and what you considered home. For L, it was a place he would only pass through as a merchant and not soend much time in. He admitted to you that he’d come to see this place in a new light ever since he’d been living in NLA. As you passed the ruins, he told you all about the not so lost civilisatio. He told you about how for a few weeks in the summer, a greenhouse would instill itself in the second terrane and he would always go visit. He promised to take you there.
Noctilum was obviously the continent he was the most familiar with. He knew where every place, every shortcut and path, walked or no. He showed you every edible plant you ran into and how to safely prepare them. When you reached the divine roost, he was oddly quiet. “The one you call the Endbringer is a god to us. The Ruler of Fates.” You watched in silence as it flew above you.
Oblivia seemed to make L uncomforable. He was still your guide, but he avoid some arteas, especially the Barabrich desert. “Countless have died here,” he replied when you asked. When you were passed the plain, his smile returned and he told you all about how during the rainy season in the ravine, it turns into a river. Completely different indigens than the ones who were there now emerged from their hibernation during that time.
Sylvalum never stopped to amaze you. He showed you the perfect spots to skate and get around much faster. You almost broke your leg when your board brkoe from under youbut you couldnt stop laughing after the fact. He told you that the petrified trees had once been bigger than NLA. whenever he talked about the past, there would be a wistful look in his eyes. You couldn’t tell if it was because he rememebred it himself or he had been told by his parents. You weren’t sure you wanted the answer.
Cauldros made even you uncomfortable. As you crossed the emerian battlegrounds, he told you that the ground had beebn stained black by all the blood shed here. The ruins in the distance had once been a proud city. He told you about the times he’d run around those streets when he was younger. You could see how much it hurt to see it in disrepair. You assured him that once the Ganglion were gone, you would see it restored.
As you made your way back to NLA, you had a brand new point of view on humanity’s new home. You saw L differently, too. Everyone in NLa had lost something, even who was arguable its happiest citizen.
“Let’s do this again,” you said as you walked through the gate.
“Gladly.”
