If there was someting Shinachiku would never be able to understand, it would be why some people could be so mean all the time.

All he wanted was to get along with his older brother. He didn't really comprehend why they had different mothers, but he never saw it as a reason they couldn't get along. He tried to 'play nice' like his mother so often told him to do, and Bolt would always come back with a snarky, rude comment.

"Abomination."

"Get out of my sight."

"I don't want to play with you right now. And I never will.”

He didn't know how to deal with Bolt, and his parents always told him the same things. To be nice, try to get along with him, and they tried to convince him that Bolt doesn't hate him.

The only consolation he really had was that his older sister was the exact opposite.

He quickly made his way to the Hyuuga household, wiping stray tears as he went. Maybe Himawari would know what to do, or at least give him someone else to talk to.

He knocked on the door and stepped back, head lowered.
