I JUST SAW…THE MAGAZINE COVER…OF YIXING!!!!. *DEAD*
My English teacher loves Johnny Depp. Like, a lot. Which is probably why we’re being forced to study Sleepy Hollow until the summer holidays. No, really. She legitimately planned an entire scheme of work around her being able to stare at Johnny Depp and call it teaching. I AM SO BECOMING A TEACHER.
2.1.12
So I woke up at 6:30 AM and prepared myself to go to Kem's place. We're gonna cook there our bread rolls for our "TLE Business" in the afternoon. I arrived there last. It was around 7:30 AM and Ven, Ron, and Keith were waiting for me. As soon as I arrived, they started cooking the bread rolls and I was sitting there reading a story from my Filipino book. I was checking them every 15 minutes. After cooking, they cut the bread into half. I was just there standing and staring at them while munching on a bread. Ven, Ron, and Keith left at around 9 AM since the boys have to go to school at 10 AM 'cause they're gonna have a talk with Father Duc. So Kem and I just sat there and read our Filipino books. That's when "unexpected" things started to happen. It felt cold and I asked Kem to turn the fan down to 1. She was reading her book so I decided to do it. The fan's cover was somehow broken and a finger could possibly fit in it. I didn't know what I was doing but I was surely not looking at the fan. When all of a sudden, it made a noisy. A noise like something stopped the fan from rotating. No violent reactions for me since I thought it was my pen that went through the fan. When I looked at my hand.. BOOM! There was a cut. I acted normal since I thought it wasn't a deep wound. I went to the kitchen and washed my hands since the blood from my hands were literally leaking like faucet. It even left a stain on my socks. So Kem went out to buy a band aid. So while I was washing my hand, I tried to look closer at it. And that's when I realized that it was really a deep wound. And when I looked closer at it, I saw the blood right in front of me. It was a different feeling. On that exact moment, I felt like the blood's smell conquered the air. And in an instant, I passed out. Yes, literally passed out. The last thing I remembered was looking at my hands. Good thing the bathroom's door was closed that time and that's where I bumped. Kem's brother, Edward and her mom heard the sound of the door. When I gained my consciousness back, the first person I saw was Edward. They helped my to get up and let me sit down. Kem arrived and her mother told her what happened. I couldn't even let a single word out that time 'cause I was so dizzy and I felt like vomiting. The feeling was just.. ugh. Kem looked at me and told me that I was really pale. Like REALLY. I felt that too. After 3 minutes or so.. I recovered for a bit and went to the CR. I looked at myself. And yes, I was really pale. Worse than the Edward-Cullen-kind of color. I washed up a bit then went out. That time, my finger felt like it weighed a hundred pounds. Kem covered up the wound with band aid and I didn't looked at it again. So we continued reading our Filipino books and had some little talks in between. We left for school at around 11:15. I went straight to the faculty. No one's inside so I just left my phone at Tr. Love's bag since I always leave my things to her and I trust her enough for that. The story about the incident earlier that morning spread throughout my classmates. At first they didn't believe at the story. The blood stain on my socks was a proof.
Too much for that, so at around 11:45 am, we started posting posters everywhere and promoting the foods we're gonna sell. We kept on pulling each other down by saying that their foods aren't yummy and it's too expensive. We started setting up our stalls at the court at 2:15 pm. It was a really happy moment for us since that was our first time doing it. Our product was the first one to had a "sold out" paper. When the other year levels had their recess, they didn't go to the canteen. Instead, they went to the court and bought our foods. It was a "panic" moment for us, but it was still fun. I can see it with my classmates' faces. We were all having fun. It ended up at around 3:15 pm. We went back to our room. We computed the capital that we all gained. It reached up to more or less 1,552 pesos. It's gonna be allotted for our next feeding program on the 10th of March. We're quite excited for that. =) So during our Economics, we just played a game. The "traditional" and the "charades". It was fun. That's one of the hundred things that I will surely miss when we leave. In Literature, we just had our daily routine. Quiz. Lesson. And oh, I did an autobiography last Monday night. I stayed up until 1 AM for that. 2 pages. It was quite long. And I read it in front of the class! I wasn't really nervous, but I got tired reading it.
That night, I went home with Lablin since everyone left already. I told her about the incident that morning and how I felt like I was gonna die. She just laughed at me. And I asked her seriously if she's gonna miss me when I die. She answered a fast "of course not". =( And I kept asking her "Seriously?" for about a hundred times. I don't know if she was serious or what. But we had a bet. I told her that I'm gonna prove to her that only she won't miss me when I die. So that night, I asked some of my classmates about that. And they told me that they're gonna miss me. But I texted Lablin and faked it. I told her that my classmates told me that they won't miss me and I should stop asking about it. She seems quite satisfied with it. But.. I know she's gonna miss me. =)
So, to sum it up.. I had a great afternoon-and-evening.. but not a great morning. Hahaha! See? What a great way to start the month. Bittersweet day.
