not to start shit but it infuriates me when there’s a post on here about abusive men and all i see in the replies are men saying they don’t do that and women abuse men too, so the post must be untrue/biased against men. nobody is saying you’re doing it, and nobody is saying that women can’t be abusive too. the post is there to let women (and men in same-sex relationships) know the signs of an abusive man. if a man picks up the corner of a sofa or a table and slams it down with his partner right there when he’s angry, that is most likely an intimidation tactic. if he tells his partner who they can see or where they can go, that’s controlling and a form of abuse. again, nobody is denying abuse against straight men or accusing anyone of abuse, the post is likely there to educate and inform. relax your egos and reblog to spread the word.
