While she's mostly moved on from the community, Fowler (@literatirps) is easily the most supportive and involved admin I've ever come across and deserves all of the Valentine's Day love in the world, as well as her adorkable Ryder from A Very Gleeful Hogwarts.

Veronica stopped absentmindedly putting a fishtail braid in Betty's hair to glance questioningly at Archie, who was still fiddling around with his guitar and just like Veronica had expected, entirely unphased by Betty's odd statement. Sometimes Veronica truly felt like a visiting space alien while all three of them were hanging out. But Veronica was fine with it most of the time. She reasoned that missing out on little inside jokes and strange sayings was just a small price to pay for dating the two most gorgeous and amazing people she knew that just so happened to also have been life long friends. After a couple seconds of no longer feeling the gentle tug of having her hair braided had, Betty quickly turned and explained that it was just a reference to some truly bland sounding comedy that she and Archie had binge watched years back when it had appeared on Netflix. Which for the first time ever, was something that made Veronica glad that she hadn't been around for every little thing in her boyfriend and girlfriend's lives. Noticing a mischievous look in Archie's eyes, that could've only meant that he was about to suggest that Betty just show Veronica the program so she'd "get to enjoy" it as well. Veronica acted quickly and leaned in to give Betty a slow lingering kiss, just deep enough to shut Archie up before he started but light enough that Betty wasn't put off when Veronica pulled away. "As, interesting as your little poodle show sounds, babe. I'm going to need you to turn around again so I can finish this braid. If I just leave it hanging, it'll all fall apart and you'll look like T.Swift after John Mayer. "

“And you believed that?” Morgaine asked in amusement as she started to pour coffee into both of their mugs. Only to have her amusement quickly give way to shock when a nearly black sludge slid out instead of anything that looked drinkable. Without even thinking about it, Morgaine pretended to scratch her nose and magically turned the sludge into appealing lattes sweetened to perfection and complete with little hearts in the foam.
For all her talk of wanting to live to normal mortal life, it was just too easy sometimes to fall back on a lifetime of old habits and fix all of her problems with magic. She probably wouldn’t have even actually noticed her slip had it not been for a cough of disapproval from her husband when he noticed a sudden pleasant aroma replace the bitter burnt one that had been flooding their place for the past couple minutes.
Letting out a short giggle, Morgaine shrugged in embarrassment and handed Jordan his cup anyway, not bothering to offer to change it back to the slime first for once. “Well you believed that I was a mortal for most of the time we’ve been together so I guess the angel wing thing would be something you’d believe in.” She teased, sitting down at the breakfast table and stealing some of the extra (and thankfully unburnt) bacon she’d placed on Jordan’s plate rather than her own. “And for the record, when we have kids, we’re not going to tell them in any insane lies like that. We’re going to go with the stork like normal people, ‘kay?”

Becca! I feel like Christmas is probably more of a gradual thing for Kelsey where things get a little bit more red and green on a daily basis in late November.

I feel like Becca probably likes the old-timey paper advent calendars with the beautiful illustrations, whereas this chocolate calendar is more Kelsey’s speed.
Who places mistletoe all around the house?
BECCA IS DEFINTELY THE GUILTY PARTY. There is probably some awkward situation that involves Jules and Becca standing under the mistletoe with people they don’t want to kiss. Maybe Jeremy and Zac? XD And they have very little love left for the mistletoe shenanigans.
Who wraps the presents for other people?
Kelsey would totally offer to wrap presents for others as a way of getting out of homework, but I think Becca would like doing her own too and making out cute little gift tags.
Who puts the final star/angel on the top of the Christmas tree?
This also seems like a very Becca thing. I imagine the lights would be more important to Kelsey. I can definitely see her having a vendetta against white Christmas lights.

I don’t know that either of them have tried it since neither of them are legal? IDK they seem like more the type to spike their hot chocolate to me anyways.
Who’s the one that bakes Christmas cookies for guests?
KELSEY. Kelsey only knows how to cook two things: pancakes and dessert so this falls right up her alley. I imagine she bakes and Becca is a master decorator, after that birthday cake last year. Perfect combination.
Who sends out the Christmas cards?
Definitely Becca. I imagine she sees it as a very Pride & Prejudice type thing to do and she writes a personalized heartwarming thing to do individually for each person. Kelsey probably just finds ones with a cute dog holding a candy cane and mass signs them with just her name and is done in five minutes.

Who’s the better snowman builder?
Kelsey takes building snowmen very seriously. She probably has a system worked out for getting the bottom, middle, and top each perfectly round and perfectly balanced to each other. Becca would rather be inside reading but she puts up with it for her bff.

Kelsey, but she also protects Becca. I imagine she starts fights with Leo and Oliver all the time for funsies.
Who’s the one that wakes the other on Christmas morning by playing Christmas songs really loudly?
BOTH OF THEM WAKE EVERYONE ELSE UP. THE BEST WAY OF SPREADING CHEER IS SINGING LOud FOR ALL TO HEAR.

Kelsey. My only muse who thinks winning a competition is more important than looking cute, bless.

Becca’s dad totally does this and I can imagine Becca really secretly loving it. Kelsey probably tears everything open without even reading the wrapping.

Neither of them! I mean Ryder might try, but he’s really clumsy and I feel like it would end terribly for him where he’d knock over a Christmas tree or Chance would light said tree on fire. And Kitty thinks no-one should ever put up Christmas ornaments until the day after Thanksgiving.

RYDER! You just know he loves those chocolate ones like a little kid would and looks forward to opening them everyday whereas Kitty thinks shes ~better than that. Or too mature, but she doesn’t take much convincing when Ryder buys her one.

Kitty complains about what a chauvinistic thing it is to do but really she’s just upset that he wants to kiss Marley under it and not her. So she engineers a way for Jake and Marley to end up under it at the same time in an attempt to give Ryder a much needed wake-up call.

Kitty! Ryder isn’t the type for things that require that much long term patience and sitting still. He probably just wraps things in newspaper or throws them into a gift bag. Kitty prefolds her wrapping paper around the presents and cuts out pieces just to make sure they fit properly.

Ryder holds Kitty up to do it because she’s short. But he knows how much the angel on top of the tree means to her.

Kitty. She thinks it’s disgusting and she’d rather just have mulled wine or anything really. Ryder thinks it’s part of the holiday spirit though and he keeps trying to convince Kitty to try it again. It probably ends with him getting a glass of eggnog thrown in his face.

Ryder attempts to. Kitty doesn’t cook in protest of the fact that women are expected to do kitchen type things, but once Ryder almost burns down her parents’ kitchen in Snowbelle, she relents and just lets Ryder mix the batter and decorate them.

NEITHER. They’re too mobile for it. They might send airmail to people they really like but won’t see with presents, but I can’t really see either of them being that interested in Christmas cards. Although Ryder probably likes getting them from other people because he’s just really excited to get mail.

Both of them. Ryder is the one that plays it six thousand times a day in order to get into the Christmas spirit though and Kitty threatens him if he doesn’t stop on like day two.

BOTH OF THEM. They’re so stupidly competitive and you know they’re just dying to do this all year round. Kitty’s probably had more practice because she lives in winter land but Ryder’s got more upper body strength so it makes things interesting because neither of them want to admit defeat ever.

Ryder. Kitty wouldn’t want a sweater that was truly ugly, she’d want to look better than everyone in the room so she could make fun of whatever Marley was wearing.

Lmao, Ryder. Ryder probably was one of those kids that didn’t even want to believe that Santa didn’t exist when it was right in his face. So other kids had to tiptoe around him long after they knew the truth. And even though Ryder knows now, he still likes pretending.

This is soooooooooo hard. I’ve played with so many of your characters and they’ve all been great. I’m going to give a big shoutout to Hayley because I loved her to death and her Lion King Pokemon naming. And I loved that she and Sid could argue for days about stupid things like Chinese food and Disney movies because they were both such gumdrops.
BUT IT HAS TO COME DOWN TO BECCA AND RYDER. And ashsjsksklkfda while I love Becca to pieces, I loved your dopey Octopus Garden son so much it hurts. And I think idk that time in AGH and your Ryder and Penny’s Quinn just feels like the time when all our friendships began and maybe I’m extra biased because of that but FAVE FOREVER.
