I feel you, I am always sacrificing myself for other people, doing everything to make them happy, but people are like that, selfish; they only remember what interests them. At the beginning I was angry thinking "why if i help them they do nothing for me?", then I decided to do things expecting nothing in return, because that's what I'd get, absolutely nothing. Some people aren't like that, at least I can count on them, even if they are just a few.
i dont understand how can anyone be like that? like i feel so indebted when my cousin just buys a drink for me and i couldn’t stop thanking her and even if she shrugs it off i just need to do something for her too. but as you said its better to learn to expect nothing in return :/ it feels better when you find a person who isn’t like the others and actually does something for you it can really make your day better :)
Hello Marcy! It's me, Lilith (◠◡◠) I am sorry to hear that you are not feeling ok, I've been a bit worried because, sadly, I don't know you personally and I don't know what worries you, so I can't help you. I just want you to know that I am here, well, WE ARE here to help you with anything. Sometimes we feel like shit and need to let it go. If you ever have the necessity to vent a little just send my a message. I'll be glad to hear you (or read you). Many kisses ~ Lilith.
aww thank you this was really kind of you! =) I wanna say the same goes for you! If you feel like you need to talk to someone about something feel free to text me anywhere Iam always willing to talk about it or listen! Again thank you so much <3
Sharing this again to all my followers. To be honest 2016 has been different for me,I did that same mistake of letting myself get too close to that person and she has broken my heart (idk perhaps I am too kind),saying farewell to a boss whom we went through together and entering another one and mostly me being stressed af at work especially when a certain clutch hits social media XD However I did so much more,I officially entered witcher fandom thanks to the blood and wine dlc which I managed to talk with most of the random whom in fact like my fanfics and drawings like @lithiumgrayangel and @aledbr (the biggest Roche fan I ever know ),my contact of that current job I am working turn permanent (and having an awesome group of colleagues looking out for me),I did up my first kids book and went to a workshop, got my creativity back thanks to watercolour and calligraphy. Tbh change is a big thing for me but I could not have made it if it wasn't talking to @missmusicaltardis on Instagram with my Sister on random things including the woes of being vegan and Rufus Sewell 😂 and @amildlookingsky whom we communicate by email about my story ideas and enduring my romance stuff (you know who?) and so many others. It is strange I picked the quote from the late George Michael but it is apt for that year! So carry forward to 2K17!

Why is everything so pink…?
Long Answer: The Super Sentai/Henshin Hero genre popularized colour coded team. These were/are Shounen/Seinen shows (shows aimed at boys) so the leader was usually red. They also popularized colour coded tropes. Leads is red, smart one is blue, girl is pink, rival/bad boy was typically green, etc. Sailor Moon brought the idea of colour coded teams to the Mahou Shoujo genre. This isn’t really the first team of magical girls (She-Ra had a team of ladies in the 80s, and Studio Pierrot did like an Idol Team up thing if I remember right) but it was the first popularized one in Japan who could be categorized under the “Magical Warrior” sub-genre. And instead of red for the leader Naoko/Toei went with magenta because the show was aimed at the Shoujo/Josei audience (girls) and colours are gendered so they thought girls would prefer pinkish to red. This pretty much set the tone for every Magical Girl team going forward - in which the pink one was the leader and thus the most popular (had the most screen time, had the most merch, etc.). Before this (in the 80s, 70s, 60s) pink wasn’t really a colour that was aggressively promoted in MG shows in Japan (U.S. market was different - Jem, Lady Lovely Locks, etc.). So why is there pink everywhere? You can thank Sailor Moon and Toei for that!!
Short Answer: This is the Magical Girl genre. It’s meant to be appealing to young girls and marketing teams typically use the colour pink to do that because colours are gendered.
