hmmmm that’s a good question ? i wouldn’t add any muses to this blog given its set theme and all but ! i would love to dip back into canon muses ? i’ve only written as two canon muses in my entire career since i am Way too self conscious to bring to life someone else’s favorite character but i do miss writing as scott fuller from fdtd: the series ! he’s my favorite character in the show and i will literally fight the entire world for him ? in the same vein i’d love to maybe one day try my hand at writing glenn rhee b/c, again, i will fight the entire world for him and his death was unnecessary ok change my mind. idk maybe canon characters, y’know the ones that are underappreciated and often are overlooked ?

Like a shadow who never learned how to remain one for long, Vivian slips out of the doorway in the dark alley he’d been hiding in. Footsteps never meant anything good in this or any other life, and his little pocket knife was at the ready, with his fingers and the blood under his nails wrapped securely around it in the inside of his jacket’s pocket.
But there’s a smile on his lips as he seems but skip forward a little, his pace easy and steps long as if he’s just taking a casual stroll towards the person standing not too far away.
He isn’t all too surprised that the person seems harmless. After all, anyone who knew what lied in the suspicion arising white bag thrown so hazardly at the opening of the alley, would have surely investigated further inside. Maybe even found the boy who was supposed to fix this mess.
He nudges the tip of his shoe against the plastic bag and looks up.
“Nothing t’see here unless you’re looking for trouble. Unless,” he cocks his head to the side, “y’already saw something?”

That is quite a sentence to say in relation to a mild injury.Sure, seeing Kit with blood anywhere on his body hadn’t only sent Nota back in time a few years, the memory of his own blood where it didn’t belong still too fresh of a memory for a boy who only knew that. It had also pulled him back out of that trance, the concern in his heart icy cold enough that it worked just as well as a bucket of ice cold water thrown directly into his face.
His calloused fingers had attempted to reach out almost immediately, the concern in the tremble of them apparently strong enough that his mind forgets the fear of touching Kit out of nowhere, touching the other at all.
He had retracted them fast, forgotten about them, as good as he could while staring at them lying in his lap, while the other sat next to him with that cold-pack against his temple. He had truly been glad and he is still. It was just a fall off his bike, that’s what Kit had said.
But he wonders whether the concern in his heart is justified, after hearing the other say those words. That’s not something someone would say to a simple fall of his bike.Nota knows what lying over an injury sounds like, looks like (bruises on a cheek the size of a hand, a dislocated shoulder that slipped again, the fine line a shard of glass left on a palm). But god knows if he could tell on Kit.
Nota himself is a poor liar.And he got away with it.
Because people want to believe the lie.Nota can see himself do the same.
“What... do you mean?” he looks up, and for some reason, he looks like he barely dared to ask the question.
