It's one that is very much circling in my head, when I have full writing energy I'm trying to put it into isekai'd little izzy (and sometimes hickey bcs bbyned infected me) but it's definitely an au I could talk a lot about - my general idea outline is ed and izzy have been getting along as littles by themselves, but it's not great and Izzy does get sick often, it gets so bad one time Ed takes him to A&E but that means Izzy is gonna be found out as a small little without a carer, he does it bcs he's very scared, but he doesn't want to be split up so he owns up as a little aswell so the staff let him stay with Izzy, the hospital social worker is like. Yeah wow that's really concerning and gets them into a foster home, once Izzy is ready to go home with an experienced carer (Steeeede) Ed is super reluctant, Stede makes it clear he's not gonna push Ed to regress, but he must see that he can't take care of Izzy like this so running away together isn't an option, and if he runs he won't be able to see Izzy, so why doesn't he stay, and if Stede is very soft and gentle and makes Ed feel kinda tiny when he watches him look after Izzy and asks Ed if he wants to help the baby play and give him a cuddle before bed then Ed is simply not going to examine that okay
