HC: Paladins + S/O In An Argument (Hunk add-on)
Hunk:
You and Hunk never had arguments
Like EVER
Hunk would never allow it-hes too sweet! He just wants to make everything okay and always finds the best solution to any problem
But with every battle Hunk went to, your fears and anxiety went through the roof
You would sometimes voice your concerns, but he always said it was his duty being part of Voltron
It broke his heart you were so worried for him, but he knew he couldn’t do anything about it- Voltron was something you couldn’t just walk away from, which you knew but it hurt you mentally to know any day Hunk could be gone forever
One day, you were helping Coran while the paladins were in battle, which made you feel sick inside because the battle was rough and you had to watch and couldn’t help
There was beams of light everywhere, and you were starting to get dizzy from trying to follow the Yellow Lion
You could hear the paladins directing orders throughout the main control panel Coran was operating, and you couldn’t take their stressed voices
Your breathing was faster than it should have been, your hands were sweating, and it felt like running away from this terrible room as far as you could go
You didn’t realize what was happening-you saw a bright ball of light flash in the sky outside from a Galra ship, saw Lions swerve out of its way, more yelling….you began running, ignoring the confused calls of Coran, and you found your room, feeling sicker from your escape
You locked yourself in your room-you were so worried, and felt guilty for leaving, but you couldn’t help this- you felt scared and so worried for Hunk
Your hands were shaking and you felt like vomiting- you fell into a corner of your room, grabbed your earbuds and shoved them into your ear, hoping Hunk was okay and this sick feeling would go away
Hunk came back from his mission, tired and hungry, but relieved he and his team were okay
They had completed at stopping the Galra from taking over an innocent planet, and was in a small high until he asked Coran where you were
Coran explained somberly that after the Galra tried their new “super weapon” on the team, you had ran off (he described it that it was as if you were running from a pack of “yelmors”)
With the new info, Hunk knew you exactly what was wrong, and quickly left the team to find you
He tried your room first, thankful to find you- but he know knew the stress you were under
You were huddled in a corner, shaking like it was below 0, and mouthing words to a very loud sing with earbuds
“Y/n?” He asked tentatively, brushing your shoulder with his fingertips
You jumped from the foreign touch, but once you saw Hunk, you burst into tears, so happy he was okay
Hunk was relieved but also scared- what was happening??
He asked you what happened, and you told him what you felt- the sick feeling, the hand shaking, the panic you felt
“Sometimes I feel like this,” you said quietly, “buts it’s never this bad”
Hunk thought quietly, trying to think of a solution to what was happening-he suspected you were having maybe an anxiety/panic attack, but never seeing or having one, he didn’t know, so he decided to find a way to for you not to feel this away anymore
You sniffed, know having a headache from crying, and apologized for being “over dramatic”- “I’m not trying to get attention- I’m not- I’m sorry for being dramatic.” You have him a sad smile, but he gave a sad, serious look
He hugged you (again), saying “No, your not being dramatic or attention seeking or anything like that- your just- worried and scared, but so I feel that sometimes to! So scared you feel like you can’t breathe… but I don’t want you to ever feel like this again…so on missions what if I ask Allura if she can start training you, and maybe you could come with me? So you don’t feel like your hopeless? You don’t have to say yes- I just thought maybe it would help…”
You thought this was such a good idea you wanted to slap yourself for not thinking of it before
You smiled, feeling happy and at peace, even placing a kiss on Hunks cheek
“I love it-lets do it.”
