A/N: I have been working on this for weeks but I forgot about it until today. I hope you guys enjoy! - Kay
“I can't do this,” Seungcheol shouted. He ran his hands through his dark hair, gripping the ends I'm frustration. He looked at his other members, who stared back, all confused and frightened by his sudden outburst.
“What's wrong?” Jeonghan asked, clearly concerned by his leader’s change in attitude. Seungcheol sighed and looked at everyone. “Vernon can't get his rhythm right, Seokmin sounds like he hasn't sung in weeks, Jun and Soonyoung keep on messing up their center moves, and we have a comeback stage next week.” Seungcheol yelled. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down.
“We're all messing up on something, and we're not working as a team. Go take a few hours off.” Seungcheol ordered the twelve boys, hoping that when they came back they’d be more focused.
They all nodded in unison, all quiet and afraid to provoke him any more. They gathered their things and left one by one, leaving Seungcheol alone in the practice room. He pressed his back against the wall, lowering himself the the hardwood floor. He was beyond stressed with the thought of the group’s upcoming comeback. They were a mess, unfocused, and he couldn’t help but to blame himself as their leader. He was failing them all. The group was going to fail and he thought of himself as the one responsible.
He pulled his phone out of his pocket and looked at the first contact that appeared. Your name was in bold print, a few hearts followed the carefully thought of nickname that he had spent hours trying to think of.
He pressed the green call button and brought the phone up to his ear. On the second ring, you picked up, your voice ecstatic on the other end of the call. “Cheol!” You cheered. It had been a few days since you had Seungcheol had been able to talk. Between your job and the group’s comeback, talking to your boyfriend had become difficult and hard to do.
“Y/N, I’m coming over to your apartment. I need to get away from the studio for a few hours.” He whispered into the phone. You paused, thinking about his sudden call “Okay, I’ll be waiting. See you soon, babe.” You said comfortingly. You knew exactly what was happening. He would get incredibly stressed before every comeback, this behavior was nothing new to you.
He clicked off his phone and shoved it back into his pocket. He looked around the empty room before he gathered his things and left it behind.
About twenty minutes later, he was walking up the steps towards your apartment. The key to your door was set securely in his hand. He pushed the key into the door and walked in casually, setting his bag down on the floor near the metal door.
“Y/N?” He called out, looking around the seemingly empty apartment. “In here!” You called from your bedroom. You heard Seungcheol’s heavy steps as he patted his way down your hallway and towards your room.
You were on the bed, wearing the same white lace set he had gotten you for your birthday months ago. You knew exactly what to do to calm Seungcheol’s nerves, and this was only the first step in doing so.
He grinned cheekily when he saw you displayed on the bed, just for him. He stood in the doorway, smiling to himself. His hands ran down his torso, landing on his belt. He started to unbuckle the black belt that was looped tightly around his waist.
“You’re perfect, Y/N.” Seungcheol groaned as he pulled the belt off. “Thank you for this.” He tossed the belt to the side and pushed his jeans to the floor. Your boyfriend kicked his pants to the side and quickly made his way towards his shirt, pulling it above his head.
You grinned and rolled over onto your back as you waited for Seungcheol to come into bed. Seungcheol stood over you and looked over your body in its entirety. “Are you going to do anything? Or are you going to keep me waiting?” You teased him.
Seungcheol sucked in a deep breath and swiftly went to work. He was on top of you within seconds, his lips moving hungrily against yours. His hands moved down your chest and stomach as he slipped his hands under your panties.
His fingers toyed with your clit teasingly. You spread your legs further for him to get better access to your heat. You hummed in pleasure as he sped up his ministrations. Before any real pleasure could take over, he removed his fingers from your clit and pulled your panties down your legs.
“You look so good, babygirl.” He purred. He threw your panties to the side and did the same with his own underwear. His erection sprung free, the tip red in aggravation. Seungcheol glanced down to your glistening heat and smirked.
“Already so wet for me. I can’t wait any longer.” He whispered. He guided his erection up and down your folds, teasing you even further. You clamped your eyes shut and took a deep breath.
Seungcheol didn’t waste any more time before he pushed himself into you. You clutched onto the sheets and groaned out from the feeling of Seungcheol filling you up. You moved your hips up and arched your back as he began moving his hips into yours.
His thrusts started off slow, he gave you time to adjust to his size, before he started to pick up the pace of his movements.
His groans were like music to your ears as he thrust deeply into you. “Come on baby, make noise for me,” He moaned as he rolled his hips. You opened your mouth and let your moans escape your mouth.
Seungcheol looked up and grabbed ahold of your breast, moving your bra to the side. He pinched your nipple in his fingers, just to stimulate you even further. You screamed out, clutching onto the sheets so hard the your knuckles turned white.
“Faster, Seungcheol!” You groaned loudly. Seungcheol grunted in response and snapped his hips into yours roughly, adding speed into the mix. As your breaths and moans grew in volume and you both became weak in each other’s hold, you reached your peaks quickly.
He came quickly, his come leaked down your thighs as he pulled out of you. You opened your eyes, still coming down from your high. Seungcheol looked down to you, his face painted with a faint blush.
“Thank you, again.” He whispered. His hand reached over to yours, squeezing it comfortingly. You pushed yourself off the bed and looked up to your boyfriend lovingly. “I hope you feel better now.” You moved your hand up and brushed his messy hair out of his eyes.
Is it bad that I can't really get behind this new comeback? The music is really soft and I feel like they've abandoned their hip-hop roots. I also think they're trying very hard to be more like western music. It makes me sad because I still love Bangtan with all my heart, but these new looks and concepts just seen so far away from the Bangtan I fell in love with.
yes, it’s alright not to feel the vibe and style of the new comeback.Bangtan started as a hip hop group, but their styles in music changed trough these 4 years and that’s good, that they are trying out new things, new music styles. If they continued doing the hip-hop and those concepts like they did in the beginning I doubt they would go this far and be where they are today. I don’t think they are trying to be like western music, they just know what’s popular and they combine that with their own style. If they really wanted to be like western music they would’ve made a song in english and they expressed that they don’t plan doing it, they are focused on songs in korean. They are still bangtan, they are the same, only thing that changed is their music and it will keep changing, they know what they are doing and they are surely making it work, they are not on the top and so well known for nothing.

You slung your blue duffle bag over your shoulders, sighing out in pain at the way your muscles moved. They were too sore to do anything. You fixed your sweaty hair before heading out of the dance studio.
It was a relatively quiet night, only a few others walked the halls of the agency, but even they were too tired to pay notice to you. Your feet ached from the long hours of dance practice and you wanted nothing more than to go home and sleep. You were a backup dancer for Starship, a position that you managed to receive from your old dance teacher, who was one of the company’s most loved choreographers.
You were getting ready for Monsta X’s next comeback, which was only about a week away. No one was able to rest, not with the upcoming performances that were scheduled for months. You pulled your phone out of your back pocket, checking the time as you walked through the halls.
It was about two in the morning by the time you checked your phone. Everyone in the company had already left or was about to leave. As you made your way down the hall, you heard faint noises come from the practices room you passed.
You turned around, your curiosity now peaked. You peaked into the windows of all the practices rooms, all of them now empty for the night. There was one in particular though that still had its lights on, a sole occupant standing with his body facing away from the door, his head leaning against the wall.
You recognized the man in the room by his faded silver hair and the clothes he wore. It was Kihyun. You slowly cracked the door open, wondering if it was him making the mysterious noises.
“Kihyun?” You asked as you walked into the empty practice studio. Kihyun stopped what he was doing, his body froze. “Are you okay?” You questioned, walking closer to him. Though, you too stopped when you realized what he had been doing.
You took a step back and closed your eyes, turning away from the brunette. “I’m so sorry!” You called out. You felt a faint blush rush up from your neck to your cheeks. He had been jerking off, and you walked in on him doing it.
Kihyun adjusts himself and walks up to you, embarrassed and humiliated. “I’m sorry. You shouldn’t have seen that.” He stammered, trying to come up with an explanation. You shook your head and slowly uncovered your eyes. “No, i-it’s fine.”
You still felt the blush on your cheeks.
Kihyun looked down to the ground and rubbed the back of his neck. “When you live in a dorm with seven guys, you can never find time to do. Well, that. I thought everyone was gone.” His voice became less embarrassed as he spoke.
You looked down and then back up, fully noting that he was still hard within his tight jeans. He saw your wandering eyes and smirked. “I could tell you to leave, or we could have fun with this ‘unique’ situation.” He grinned, his hand travelling back down to the buttons of his jeans.
You only had a few moments to respond. You weren’t sure if you should do this, especially with the fact that you would have to work with Kihyun for months on end with the rest of the group. You didn’t want to jeopardize your work.
Though, the uncomfortable heat between your legs made you think otherwise. Truth is, you had been longing for something like this to happen. To feel Kihyun’s lips on yours, to feel him touch you. This wasn’t exactly the way you thought things would happen.
You weren’t complaining though.
You reached forwards and grabbed the hem of his unbuttoned jeans. You looked up to him for approval before tugging the pants down. He gave you a quick nod, and within seconds, he had you pressed against a wall, his lips heavy against yours.
He pressed himself into you. Through your baggy sweatpants, you could feel his erection against your clothed core. He certainly didn’t waste anytime. Kihyun broke away from the kiss, breathless. He smirked, his hand travelling down to his boxers. He palmed himself through the cloth.
“Go down,” He whispered in your ear. His voice sent shivers down your spine, making you more excited than you were before. You nodded your head and bent your knees, lowering yourself so you were at eye level with his hard
You smiled and looped your fingers around his underwear, quickly pulling them down his legs. His erection came free, the head was rosy and a bead of precum dripped down the side. “Already this excited?” You grinned.
Kihyun held his head back and nodded his head. “You walked in on me before I could finish, remember?” He asked you. You laughed breathlessly before leaning in, licking a long strip up his erection.
Kihyun bit his lip, trying not to let out any noises. You continued on, this time, taking him into your mouth fully. You dipped your head up and down his cock, puffing out your cheeks to get more room.
Kihyun’s efforts to stay silent were useless. A low moan escaped his lips, as he came close to his high. Before he could, he grabbed the side of your head and pulled you off of him. “Not yet,” He groaned. He pulled you up and pushed you against the wall again.
His hands were around the hem of your sweatpants in no time. He pulled them down along with your underwear. You were soaked, and Kihyun smiled to himself. He reached down and dragged a finger along your folds.
He pulled away, the clear liquid coat his finger. He slid his finger into his mouth and tasted your juices. “Wonderful,” He moaned. He pulled his finger out of his mouth, going back down to pump his erection.
“Spread your legs for me,” He whispered. You did as he said, leaning back against the wall and spreading your legs for him. Kihyun ran his erection over your core before he pushed himself into you.
You screamed out, not having felt this type of sensation in so long. Kihyun bent down and grabbed ahold of your thighs, picking you up to get a firmer grip on your legs. He started moving in and out of you.
You wrapped your legs around his hips as he thrust in and out of you, quickening his pace with every move. You shut your eyes and ran your fingers through his brown locks. Your moans were louder than his from before.
It only took a few minutes for the two of you to reach your highs. Kihyun slowly pulled out of you. You both tried catching your breaths, still coming down from your orgasms. Kihyun set you down on the floor, smiling to himself.
“I’m excited to work with you, Y/N.” He grinned, leaning over to place a soft kiss on your lips. You were more than excited for the upcoming months with him.
The melodies wafted through the air softly. I dim sound overshadowed by the boisterous laughter coming from every crevice of the ballroom. Figures danced around joyously. Their colored skirts and dress shirts made everything seem to pop in an explosion of vitality, as no one was concerned about anything outside of this room.
None of the party goers looked the same, far from it. There were those with wooden horns sticking prominently from their heads, all branching ambitiously towards the sky. Some of their eyes were slit like a cat’s, a tender green that seemed to glow in the dim light. The chef, who stood behind the tables, controlling the supply of food, had a large piggish nose that took up most of the space of his plump face.
The animalistic guests were underlings, nothing compared to those who swayed their bodies in the middle of the ballroom. The ones in the middle, tall and beautiful as they may be, were the ones heading this grand affair.
You were at the center of it all. You moved along the dancing figures, hardly a care in this small world. Everywhere you walked in the expansive ballroom, you would turn heads. It was nearly impossible not to, everyone was interested in seeing the Princess of the Summer Court afterall.
It was your birthday, the reason for the grand part being held. These parties were a part of Fae customs, ‘go big or go home’ they always said. The middle of the dance floor was littered with dancing fae. They all moved to the soft sounds of the lute, all movements in time with their fellow companions.
The fae were elegantly dressed, hell, even that was an understatement. Their dresses and suits were layered in glitter and gold. Their layer skirts were as large as the sun as they waltzed across the floor.
You looked around the expansive room, looking for few figures in particular. You craned your neck to look for the familiar red wings of your best friend. You saw the willowed wings on the other side of the room, and in an excited rush, you started to make your way towards him. You muttered apologies as you moved towards the crowd of people.
Once you saw him, leaning against the marbled wall, you quickly went in to stand next to him. “Why aren’t you dancing?” You asked him curiously, wondering why he had secluded himself so far away from the party.
The pink haired man shrugged his shoulders and sighed. “I am not in a dancing mood,” He muttered. You rolled your eyes and raised your arm to nudge him in the ribs. “You just couldn’t find anyone to dance with, Kihyun,” You teased him.
Kihyun scrunched up his nose and shook his pink head. “Not true, there are a thousand fae here that would die to have the chance to dance with me,” He smirked as he stared into the see of fae.
Kihyun was the nephew of the Queen of the Autumn court. His warm features made it blatantly obvious of his heritage. You nodded your head, not fully believing him. “Sure, that’s it, Ki.” You joked with him even further.
“You’re lucky it’s your birthday, Y/N. Or else I would have to-” You eyed him carefully and smiled, turning to fully face him. “Or else you’ll what?” You simpered, flashing him a devilish grin.
Kihyun, now quiet, leaned in closer. “Or else I’ll hav-” Kihyun’s words were cut short by the rambunctious calls a few party goers. A few men came up behind him, draping their arms around his shoulders.
“Look, it’s the birthday princess and her knight in shining wings.” One of the two men murmured happily as they walked in between the two of you. You crossed your arms over your chest and shook your head.
“I was wondering when I was going to see the two of you.” These two men, the princes of the Spring court, were just as close to you as Kihyun was. You had known them he majority of your life, having spent countless balls and banquets together and away from your families.
“Nice to see you, Jooheon and Changkyun,” Kihyun sighed. He relaxed his shoulders once he figured out who was behind him. Though, you noted the slight tone change in his voice when the two men walked into the conversation.
The brothers sauntered over to you with extended arms. They folded them around your body and held you in a quick embrace. “Happy birthday, Y/N.” Changkyun said gleefully when he pulled away.
“Thank you.” You smiled brightly and took a step back, turning your attention back to Kihyun. “Would you be in the mood to dance if I asked you, Kihyun?” You asked him, holding out your hand. The pink haired fae took your hand and smirked. “I suppose I would.” He reached down to take ahold of your free hand and pulled you to the center of the dancing circle.
His hands swiftly moved to your hips once the next song started. He lead the dancing, making sure you knew to follow his steps.
“There’s something I’ve been meaning to talk to you about, Y/N.” Kihyun said after a few minutes of silence. You perked your head up in wonder after you heard his words. “And what’s that about?” You questioned.
The song was beginning to end and you could tell that Kihyun was becoming anxious. “I. Well, I.” He stuttered his words and before you knew it the song was ending. “I l-” Once again, his words were cut off by someone coming in between the conversation. Though, this time, you didn’t know who it was.
You were amazed by the man in front of you. His black hair swept just above his dark eyes. His eyes, nearly a black hue, looked at you with such intrigue and interest that you could almost feel it on your skin. He was tall, almost willowy, with a lean physique that you couldn’t help but to stare at. He had large black wings that spread across his back, it made him seem even more intimidating. A fae.
You snapped out of your trance, realize that he probably realized that you were practically undressing him with your eyes. He eyed you curiously, a faint, smug smile playing on his lips. “May I have the next dance, Princess?” He asked, bending down to grab your hand. He brought it up to his lips and kissed the skin tenderly.
Your heart started to beat faster as he pressed his lips to your hand. “Of course,” You said. You looked back to key and sent him and apologetic look. “We’ll talk later. Okay?” Kihyun nodded his head, his lips pursed in a thin line. “Sure,” He mumbled before walking off.
You turned back to look at the man, who still had your hand in his hold. The man with the dark hair smiled and started to move you along to the music. “They say that getting the princess of the Summer Court to dance is just as hard as getting a human to see past a faerie’s glamour.” His voice was soft, and singsongy, so melodic that it rivalled that of the music floating through the air.
“It’s only hard because I’m never interested in the suitors that ask. They’re always pompous, daddy’s boy nobles that never capture my attention.” This was surprising to hear in the man’s ears.
“You have your standards. I like that.” He grinned as he moved you along the dance floor gracefully. He pulled you closer to him as the song went on. He leaned in to your ear and chuckled deeply. “Am I up to your standards?” He asked huskily in your ear.
His voice sent shivers down your spine. Whatever your standards were, this man was at the top of the list. You nodded your head, speechless by his closeness. The man pulled away, stopping his dancing. “Let’s take a walk,” He suggested, letting go of one of your hands.
He pulled you along and away from the rest of the dancers, and into the rest of your castle.
It had been a few hours since the man had pulled you away from the party. He had been a much better conversationalist than he had first let on. You had been able to keep up with him for hours without a break. He was charming, and intelligent, and you wondered why you had never seen him at one of the banquets before.
“So you’re telling me, you killed a satyr with your bare hands and went home without any wounds.” You repeated his story once again with a hint of humor. The man nodded his head vigorously. “Granted, it was a smaller satyr, but I still killed it after it attacked me.” He defended, throwing his hands up.
You laughed and bent your head to the side. You looked him up and down for what seemed like the fifth time in the past hour. Now that you looked at it, you believed that he could do it. He looked fast and nimble, he could easily take one on.
He started to slow his walking, until he stopped all together. You turned around and looked at the man quizzingly. “It’s not every day that someone has a birthday. Especially a princess. Wouldn’t you want to spend it, I don’t know doing something else?” He asked slyly as he walked closer to you.
You furrowed your brows together and slit your eyes. “What do you mean?” You asked as he approached. He extended his arms and nudged you towards the wall. Your heels clicked against the floor as you stepped backwards.
The man leaned in close to your face, smirking softly as he watched you become flustered under his touch. “In ways that are a bit more adventurous than a simple party.” His lips were so close to yours, barely brushing against your own.
“Why don't you show me,” You challenged him. Without hesitation, his lips were on yours. Your lips moved hungrily against each others, as if neither of you had ever been kissed.
His hands traveled down your waist, until they rested snuggly at the top of your hips. He pressed himself into you, despite the rings of your dress prohibiting him from going far.
You moved your hands up his back. You pulled away from the kiss to look at his wings. They were beautiful, stunning almost. They looked like the branches of a leafless tree and you couldn’t help but to admire the beauty this man had. His wings, dark and ominous by nature, were a stark contrast from your own. Yours were blindingly white, almost like the sun. Though, yours could to be compared to that of a flower petal, nothing quite as unique as the man before you’s. “You’re quite beautiful,” The man cooed, bringing his hand up to stroke your cheek. You leaned into his touch and closed your eyes.
Something seemed off about this man. As perfect as he appeared to be, you couldn’t shake the feeling that there was something behind his pretty smile. Hell, you had been with him for hours and you still didn’t know his name.
The man trailed his hands across you waist until they landed back onto your hips. He leaned back down until his lips hovered just above your neck. He started planting open mouthed kisses against your neck, eventually he started to suck on the sensitive skin.
You felt a heat between your legs that it started to become uncomfortable. This man was making you feel things and you weren’t sure how much longer you simply just wanted to kiss him.
The man brought his head up and looked to you with a sly glint in his brown eyes. “Can I ‘Please the Princess?” He cooed in your ear. You raised your brows in wonder. “What is that?” You asked, a little embarrassed that you weren’t sure what he meant.
The man smirked and lowered himself to his knees. He bunched your skirts up into his hands and threw the fabric over his head. He ran his hands over your thighs, spreading them further apart as you leaned against the wall.
You sucked in a deep breath and held it. You now understood the meaning behind the name.
His fingers quickly moved your lacy panties to the side, holding them there as he leaned in closer. He pecked small kisses to your core before he dipped his tongue down into your folds. He flattened his tongue against your clit, licking a long, tantalizing strip up your heat.
You clenched your thighs together, clamping yours eyes shut as he continued on. “I want to hear you, princess.” He hummed against your clit. You let your moans ring throughout the hall, unashamed about who might hear.
He flicked his tongue against your clit, increasing his pace with each movement. You gasped out when you felt his fingers enter your heat. He started to move them slowly in and out of you while he focused his tongue on your clit.
He picked up the speed of his fingers. Within moments you were melting in his touch, clearly on the verge of orgasming in the middle of the hallway. You clutched onto the fabric of your dress when you felt your high coming over you.
You needed to hold onto something.
You moaned out, your high washing over you.
“Y/N?” Called a deeper voice from the end of the hall. You could recognise the voice anywhere. You let out a long breath and tried to fix your hair. Wishing for him to go away. You didn’t want him to see you like this, not when you had a man between your legs.
Kihyun walked a bit closer to you, curious as to why you were just standing in the middle of the hall. “What are you doing here?” He asked.
The man threw the fabric of your dress away from him and pushed himself off the ground. A smirk played at his rosy lips. He brought his sleeve up and wiped his wet mouth and turned to look at Kihyun, who was utterly speechless.
“Prince Minhyuk?” Kihyun questioned, almost bitterly.
Then it dawned on you. This man, the one who had just had you pressed against the wall, was Prince Minhyuk of the Winter Court. The same court that had been at war with yours for centuries.
Minhyuk turned and winked to you. “Until next time, Princess.” He straightened his jacket and walked towards the door. You snapped your head towards Kihyun, who glared at you. “There’s going to be a next time?” He mumbled.
You shook your head, still shocked. “I-I don’t know.”
And truthfully, you wouldn’t mind if there was. He was a pesky faerie that you had no intention of staying away from.
He tapped his finger nervously over the rim of his cup. His sense were on high alert, as he looked around the empty cafe. His hood was pulled close to his face, covering up the bruises and cuts that littered his skin. He had been on the run for days, or had it been weeks?
He was losing track of time. He counted the days by the moonlight, but even that was a poor excuse of a clock. He glanced behind him, at the the large glass window displaying the bustling city outside. Despite the apricot colored sky outside, there were still thousands of people walking the city streets.
You stared at the man sitting alone in the cafe. You were curiously watching him as you dried the last of the coffee mugs from earlier in the day. He hadn’t touched the coffee he had ordered two hours ago, not even a sip. He had been sitting in the same position the entire time, only moving so he could look out the window.
You set the mug that you had been holding down on the counter in front of you. You grabbed a muffin from the display case and set it on a miniscule glass plate. You made your way towards the man, placing the plate in front of him.
“Who did you kill? Was it your brother? Your boss? Oh wait, I know, your girlfriend.” You half joked with the man. You realized that it was a horribly dark thing to say only after the words left your mouth.
The man looked back at you and cocked his eyebrow up, seemingly confused. “No one? I’m running away from an…” He paused and looked back to the glass window. “Old group that I was a part of.” His voice trailed off into a whisper, like he wasn’t truly talking to you.
You decided not to pry any further. While working the night shift in the middle of a city, you encountered many weird people. The man in front of you was no different. “Well eat, it’s on the house. You’ve been sitting here for hours and you haven’t eaten or drank anything since you’ve arrived.” You told him, pushing the muffin closer to him.
The man shook his head in protest, though, as he moved his head, his hood fell from his face. You only caught a glimpse of his beaten face before he pulled the fabric over his face once more.
The sun was setting. The dark of the night was quickly expanding over the sky, casting out the light and replacing it with a blanket of darkness. “It’s a full moon tonight,” You said worriedly, moving your eyes away from the window and back towards the mysterious man.
He looked up to you and lazily got up from the hardwood chair he had been sitting in for hours. “Thank you for the hospitality, I need to leave.” The man said abruptly. He pulled the hoodie closer to his body and trudged towards the door. He fumbled with the door handle before he flung it open, quickly evacuating from the cafe.
You smirked to yourself, picking up the food he had left untouched on the table. You had seen weirder things in that cafe. You threw the muffin away, taking a quick glance behind you at the setting sun, you had to leave before the moon bloomed in the sky.
“Jooheon?” You called out in the dark of the night. You heard his voice come from the brush in front of you, it was a low mumble, a confirmation that he was nearby.
“You're here early tonight,” He chuckled. He padded out from the trees, his dark coat of fur made him blend in with the night. As If he were a part of the dangerous hue of the sky.
“I've heard rumors floating around about another pack roaming near ours. I wanted to come before the full moon reached its peak. You, of all of us, know how dangerous an angry wolf can be under the moon’s eye.” You commented, speaking to the animal in front of you.
The wolf would have caused panic in the hearts of others, rendering them speechless at the thought of being so close to the dangerous animal. Though, to you, it was more than normal. The wolf crouched low to the ground which was covered by damp leaves and fallen branches from the trees above.
His form steadily changed from that of an animal to one of a human. His dark fur was slowly replaced by a heavy crop of black hair at the top of his head. The eyes that were once animalistic and hungry were now kind and almost cheerful. The wolf, now a handsome man dressed in dark clothing, stood in front of you.
He leaned casually against the nearest tree, his arms were folded against his chest. “How do we know this pack is dangerous? They could be like us.” Jooheon suggested kindly. You shook your head and ran your hands through your hair. “I doubt it. Bodies have been showing up, their deaths are still being investigated. Their entire bodies are ripped to shreds, the only remnants left of them are the bones. A human couldn’t do that, Jooheon.” You told him clearly, your voice sounded deafening in the empty forest.
Jooheon shrugged his shoulders impassively, not bothering to counterattack your comment. “What are you planning on doing about it?’ He asked calmly. Though, before you could answer him, the sound of twigs snapping an tree branches being moved, made you turn your attention elsewhere.
You whipped your head behind you, only to be greeted by four men dressed in dark clothing. “No, the answer was 35.8. You divided wrong.” Kihyun snapped at Minhyuk, who only frowned in return. “No, you forgot to take the power. It’s 97.45.” The two continued fighting about, what you assumed to be, the math exam the two of them had been nervous about for the past month.
“Have you ever thought that neither of you are right?” You asked them. The two boys looks over to you then at each other, considering the possibility that you had a point. They nodded to one another, agreeing to disagree.
The other two men finally showed their faces. Changkyun and Hoseok walked through, frowning to themselves. “They’ve been fighting like that the entire trip from the college to here.” Changkyun muttered. He glared at the two bickering boys but turned his eyes back to you almost instantly.
These boys were just like Jooheon. They were animalistic and prisoners of the moon. You were normal people. You lived relatively normal lives. You attended college, had jobs, made friends, but the thing that separated this group and everyone else, was that you were animals. You could change your forms freely, but on the full moon, you couldn’t help but to be rendered helpless in the moon’s glare.
You became hungry, driven by the lunacy the moon offered. No one could tell what would happen during the full moon. So you bonded with those who were like you, who understood what this life was like.
You stared up to the pale outline of the moon, it was that small action that triggered a frenzy to take over. You could hear the others. Their howls echoed through the trees, thunderous, dangerous sounds that alerted anything to stay away.
Prisoners of the moonlight.
You woke up to the sounds of painful grunts. Leaves and twigs pressed against your cheek, causing throbbing pains to be sent through your face. You brought your arms up and pushed yourself off of the ground, just to see what the commotion was about.
In front of you, Jooheon was throwing punches towards another man. His claws were extended, his teeth bared and on full display. You turned your head to see who the other man is, from the angle you were at, you couldn’t tell if it was play fighting or if it was an actual intruder.
You found your answer when the other men crowded around the fighting pair. You got up from the terrain and trudged over to the fight, straining your eyes in the dark morning light to see what was happening.
“Get away from our land,” barked Jooheon, who now had the mysterious man in a headlock. His claws were centimeters away from the man’s eyes, threatening to scratch them out at any time.
“Not until you bring me to your alpha,” The man choked out. Jooheon loosened his grip on the man but never let go of him. Jooheon looked up and pointed to you. “She’s right there. What business could you have with our leader, mutt?” He snapped.
The man’s eyes bore into yours. You could remember his face. The brown eyes that had looked so scared and sorrowful. The bruises that littered his face. You remembered everything about the man from the cafe.
You walked up to the two of them, pushing past Changkyun to get there. Your eyes scanned over the man, taking in every detail of him. His clothes were ripped, his face dirty, fresh blood trickled down his head. Most importantly, you noted the obvious shape of a star on his hand.
“What does a member of the Castor Clan want with us?” You snided, upturning your nose in frustration. The man looked to the ground and then up to you. He raised his eyebrows once he saw who you were.
“You’re the Alpha of the Apollo Clan?” He questioned, his voice rose in surprise. You furrowed your brows and crossed your arms across your chest. “ Answer my question. What does a member of the Castor Clan want with us? You’re the ones who’ve been killing those innocent humans, don’t think we don’t know about that.”
The man shook his head. “I was the Alpha of the Castor Clan. They’ve been hunting me for days. Weeks? I don’t know, but I need help. I need to get away from them.” He was pleading. No man plead until his life was on the line.
You looked to your packmates and gave them all a subtle nod. You turned back to the man and sent him a whisper of a smile. “We can help you. I’m Y/N.” You bent down close to him. Jooheon had long since let him go from his headlock.
“I’m Hyunwoo,” He held out his marked hand for you to take. You reached for his hand, with your own that had a symbol of a sun. Once your hands met, you both recoiled, an electric shock rushed through your body.
You fell back, as did Hyunwoo. The other boys rushed to your side, pulling you up and examining you for any injuries. You opened your eyes and brought your hand to your face. The once lone mark on your hand was now accompanied by another.
A singular star next to a vibrant sun.
“Admit it. We’re mates.” Hyunwoo said smugly. He helped you dry the last of the dishes while you looked over your heavy textbook. “We are not mates. Stop saying that and finish drying those dishes.” You grumbled as you finished the last paragraph of your chemistry chapter.
You heard Hyunwoo chuckle as he finished up. It had been weeks since that first night in the woods. Life had continued like normal, besides the constant reminder that Hyunwoo was always by your side.
He had been staying with you, since it was still too dangerous for him to go back home. You couldn’t help but to dread the day that he had to return back home. He naturally fit in with your pack, despite the rocky beginning. He hunted with you, helped you with work, and provided a type of support that no one else had been able to give.
After a while, you couldn’t help but to hope that the marks on your hand meant more than the clans you associate yourself with.
Hyunwoo went quiet. He stopped drying the dishes and all he could do was stare at you. You peered up from your book and gave him a sappy little smile. “What are you thinking about?” You asked him, closing up your textbook and pushing it to the side.
“I’m thinking about how scared I am of the Castor Clan finding me.” He whispered. This was the first conversation you had with him about his former pack. You had been curious to know what had happened, why the alpha of a wolf pack was suddenly banished. It appawled you to think that a pack would want their alpha dead.
“What happened?” You asked him, hoping that you weren’t prying. Hyunwoo sighed. He leaned against the nearest counter, his once teasing face was now serious and somber. “I gained the role of the alpha from my father. Before he died, he made sure to tell me that I was the alpha, that I had to lead the pack as far as I could.”
His eyes dipped down to the floor. “I couldn’t lead them far though. We were peaceful for a few years. We lived our own lives but always came together as one. Until they started craving the taste of something more than animal flesh. I tried stopping them from killing those humans, but they turned against me, declaring me a traitor for not choosing the lifestyle they wished to live. So now they want me killed. My own pack.” Hyunwoo was devastated by this. He picked up his head and stood in silence, waiting for you to say something.
You were astonished. You couldn’t fathom being in his place. Though, you still wished to help him, no matter what happened. You took a step towards him in the small space of the cafe’s kitchen. You moved your hand up and moved a stray piece of hair away from his eyes.
“You always have a place with us. We’ll protect you,” You spoke softly. You made eye contact with his dark eyes. Hyunwoo’s hands wandered from his sides to your face. He cupped you cheeks, rubbing the skin softly.
You both leaned in, your lips connected. You melted into the kiss. The way his lips molded against yours sent shivers down your spine. He held you tightly, his hands slowly moved away from your face and down your body, only to stop at your hips.
He turned you around and pushed you against the counter. He lifted you up until you were seated on the cold countertop. You ran your fingers in his black hair, pulling him closer towards your own body.
After a few minutes of this, Hyunwoo pulled away slightly, a playful grin on his lips. “I’m’ your mate, Y/N. There’s no denying it.” He teased. You rolled your eyes and pulled him back into the kiss.
“Shut up,” You whispered before pressing your lips to his again. Maybe he was right. Maybe he was supposed to be your mate. As the two of you continued on, the marks on your hands changed from a sun and a star to two suns, entwined together.
Werewolves were supposed to have mates. It was believed that the key to finding your mate was in the mark on your hand. The mark, given to you at birth, was the pack or ‘clan’ you belonged to. Over time, the mark could change, depending if you changed your pack.
It was also believed that the moon had a mate specifically picked out for wolves, her children, and the moment you made skin contact with your mate, you were bound together forever.
The story of the mates has gone back in time for thousands of years, though, as times have changed, so has the story. No one has ever been quite sure if the story of the mates is true. Though, looking down at the two suns on your hand, you started to believe in the myth.
“You’re going to be my wife someday,” Hyunwoo whispered in your ear. You laughed and nudged him in the ribs. The two of you were on the couch, counting down the hours till the full moon.
“Keep dreaming, lover boy.” You smirked, linking your fingers with his. Hyunwoo laughed and pulled you tightly against his body. “You’re my mate and I’m not going to rest until you’re my wife.” He grinned.
You rolled your eyes and turned over so you were facing him. “Is that so?” You cooed in his ear. You felt his muscles tense as you straddled his lap, pressing your chest into his. Hyunwoo frowned and brought his hands up to hold your hips.
“Don’t tempt me, Y/N.” He groaned, tightening his grip on you. You ground your lips into his, causing him to suck in a deep breath.
Within seconds your back was on the couch as he pinned you to the cushions. There was no hesitation in his movements. He hands found their way to the hem of your shirt, pulling it above your head and throwing it to the side.
“Hyunwoo,” You mumbled, trying to catch his attention. He looked up to you, his eyes gleamed with a hint of a feral nature. He pulled away from you and removed his shirt from his torso, throwing it wherever yours had landed.
“You smell so good,” Hyunwoo groaned, leaning back down and rubbing his face across your neck and chest. “I can smell how wet you are for me,” His lips were close to your ear, his hot breath hit your neck.
You closed your eyes, leaning back into the cushions of your couch. It was the full moon and you could tell the Hyunwoo was acting on the lunar impulses. You were aching for him, for his touch. You wanted all of him and welcomed anything he had to offer.
Hyunwoo’s fingers slipped past the hem of your pants, pushing past your panties and landing at your core. He ran a teasing finger up and down your folds, testing to see if you were ready for him.
He pulled his hand out of your pants and examined the fluid on his finger. He smirked and licked his finger. “You even taste good. What are you doing to me, Y/N?” He moaned. Hyunwoo grabbed your pants and pulled them down your legs, your panties shortly followed.
Hyunwoo palmed himself through his jeans before he pulled the fabric away. He stroked himself and watched you squirm from under him. It was an enticing sight and he couldn’t hold back any longer.
“Do you want me?” He questioned, leaning in closer. You nodded your head, your eyes still clamped shut. Hyunwoo smacked your thigh, causing your eyes to fly open. “Say it,” He said louder.
“I want you, Hyunwoo.” You screamed out, your core now aching for him. Hyunwoo grinned in satisfaction before pushing himself inside you. You groaned out. You dug your fingers into the cushions of the couch as Hyunwoo began moving his hips. Once the two of you became adjusted, Hyunwoo started to buck his hips into your core.
You held onto his body even tighter as his pace started to speed up. You eventually began moving your hips in time with his. You arched your back, letting go of your grip on his back.. He sloppily kissed you, but you didn’t mind because the movement of the thrusts made it hard to kiss him. He held on to your hips as he snapped his hips roughly into yours.
You knew you were close to coming, and judging by his pleasurable moans, he was too. You held onto him as you both finally released, overcome by the pleasure. He collapsed on top of you, still riding out his high. He looked at you and moved a stray piece of hair from your eyes. You both were panting, still trying to catch your labored breaths.
“Am I allowed to say I love you?” He asked against your neck. You nodded your head and wrapped your arms around your mate. “As long as I can say it in return.”
They came on the following full moon. No matter how hard you tried to hide Hyunwoo, the Castor Clan had finally found him. Your pack, the ever noble Apollo Clan, stood before them, ready to fight.
Hyunwoo was at your side, his claws and teeth bared to his former packmates. “We can’t let them down easy.” Minhyuk said from beside you. You nodded your head and reached down to grab Hyunwoo’s hand, your mate marked hands entwined with each other’s.
“Don’t be afraid, love.” His whispered. He stared ahead at the enemies at hand. You took a deep breath and looked to your packmates. “Attack!” You screamed, pointing towards the Clan in front of you.
Within seconds, the battle had begun.
The world stopped. All time had ceased to exist. You had tried so hard to protect Hyunwoo. You wanted to protect your mate. Though, as time stopped, all you could see were members of the Castor Clan rip him to shreds.

“Here’s to another shitty year!” One of your friends shouted over the commotion of the countdown. You all held up your shot glasses and clinked them together before taking a shot all together.
The bar you were currently at was void of people. No one wanted to come to the rundown bar at the outskirts of the city. That’s what made it more than perfect for New Years though.
You decided to spend New Years with a few of your work friends, whom you saw more than your friends outside of work. There was an hour until midnight and with the slight buzz of the alcohol in your systems, you were more than ready to kick of the New Year right. Though, you didn’t exactly know how that was going to be done yet.
You downed another shot and turned towards your friend, who was ordering another drink of her own. “And what’s your New Year’s resolution?” You asked her casually. She shrugged her shoulders and leaned her head against her hand. “Maybe get a boyfriend for once? Get a promotion? Finally go to the gym? The world is full of possibilities!” She slurred her words, the early onset of drunkenness was already evident on her face.
You shook your head and pat her shoulder. She turned her head around when the bell chime at the front of the bar. She stood up and winked to you, “And I’ll start with one of them.” She smiled and walked over to the three men who had walked into the bar.
They were attractive young men that you assumed were your age. One of them was tall and lean, his lips were plump and seductive, much like the models that you had seen in all of the fashion magazines. Another one was younger looking, a bit on the shorter side, that had brown hair fall into his eyes lazily.
The one in the middle is who who truly caught your eye. He wasn’t as tall as the model, but he was more than built than both of them combined. He smiled sweetly, as he joked around with his friends. They took a seat at one of the nearest few sights at the bar.
There was something about him that bothered you, he appeared too familiar and you couldn’t pinpoint where you had seen him before. You must have been staring for quite a while because eventually he met your gaze. He smiled to you and got up from his place at the bar.
He walked over to you and pushed his drink towards you. “It’s rude to stare you know,” He teased. You smiled and blushed slightly. He was attractive, more than that, he was gorgeous. His perfect row of teeth that made up his smile only proved even more.
He stuck out his hand for you to take. “My name is Hyunwoo,” He said to you. You hesitated before taking his hand, you knew exactly why he look so familiar. Your eyes widened and you took his hand. “Son Hyunwoo?” You asked him.
Hyunwoo paused and looked you over carefully. “Y/N?” He asked. You nodded your head and threw your arms around him. “It’s been, what, eight years?” He asked you once the two of you let go of each other.
“I didn’t know you were in the city again.” You said, examining the man in front of you. Hyunwoo was your childhood best friend. From the age of three to the age of sixteen the two of you were inseparable.
Though, he and his family moved away a few weeks after he turned sixteen. The two of you eventually lost touch with one another. But here he was, sitting in front of you completely grown up.
Hyunwoo nodded. “I moved back a few weeks ago. I got a job here at a firm. I start next week.” He said enthusiastically. He then turned to you, taking a swig of his drink.
“What are you doing now?” He asked you. You smiled and ran your finger against the glass. “I'm a teacher now. I teach science at a local high school,” you admitted. It was too spectacular but you loved every moment of it. Hyunwoo nodded, grinning to himself. “You always wanted to go into teaching.” He remembered, thinking back to when the two of you were young.
The next hour was spent catching up for the years the two of you spent apart from each other. Your little catch up session was interrupted when you heard the commotion of the countdown till midnight.
There were only a couple of minutes till midnight and everyone was prepping for the ball drop. Hyunwoo looked to you and smiled shyly. “I wanted to ask you this long before I moved but do you want to be my New Year’s kiss?” Your old best friend asked you.
You felt the crimson blush creep on to your cheeks. You smiled and nodded your head, “I would love to.” You answered. Hyunwoo grinned and looked to the countdown, seeing that there were about thirty seconds remaining till midnight.
He leaned over and placed his hand behind your head, pulling you into a heavy, alcohol fused, kiss. The cheers from the residents of the bar wafted through the building, signaling the start of the new year.
A few seconds after midnight, Hyunwoo let go of your head and stood back to look at you. You knew for a fact that it was the alcohol in your system that inspired you to do what you did next.
You held onto Hyunwoo’s shoulders and pulled him into deeper kiss than the two of you just had. Hyunwoo’s eyes widened once he realized what was going on, though he relaxed and deepened the kiss.
You pulled away and scanned the bar for the bathroom, once you found it, you smirked at Hyunwoo and pointed your chin in the direction of the bathroom. You hopped off of your bar stool and made your way to the bathroom.
You half expected Hyunwoo to stay where he was, but out of the corner of your eye you caught a glimpse of his large figure following you. You quickly went to the bathroom, hoping that no one was already in there. Seeing that it was empty, you excitedly went in, leaving the door slightly cracked for Hyunwoo.
He locked the door behind him and quickly strode over to you, pushing you up against the sink. He pressed his lips to yours, hungrily moving his over yours. You wrapped your arms around his neck, bringing him as close as possible to you.
You had to admit that you had feelings for Hyunwoo when you two were teenagers but nothing prepared you for something like this to happen. You were reconnecting with your childhood best friend by having sex in a bar bathroom. Though, you supposed that it could have turned out worse.
Hyunwoo moved his hands down to your hips, playing with the top of your jeans teasingly. He unbuttoned the top of your pants and slid them down your legs. They fell to the floor with a quiet thud that was hard to hear over the sounds you and Hyunwoo were making.
You moaned into the kiss when Hyunwoo’s hand ventured down to your clothed heat, rubbing little circles into it. You were becoming increasingly more wet with each stroke. Eventually he moved the damp fabric away from your heat, lowering himself so he was at eye level with it.
He grinned and leaned in, slowly licking a stripe up your sensitive folds. You leaned your head back against the mirror of the sink, shutting your eyes and pulling your hands through his hair. He brought his hand up and inserted two fingers roughly, beginning to move them in and out at a pace that was far too slow.
He sucked against your clit, still teasing you tirelessly. You bit your cheek, hoping that the moans wouldn’t escape your mouth. You really didn’t want anyone inside the bar to hear you moaning out in pleasure but as Hyunwoo continued, you began to start caring less.
You felt a knot in your stomach begin to form, a sign that you were close to coming. Before you could, Hyunwoo got up from the ground. You sighed out in frustration, opening your eyes again to look at him.
Hyunwoo smirked and pulled you back into a kiss. You could taste yourself on his lips. To some people, this would have been disgusting, though it only made you more excited. Hyunwoo started to fumble around with his pants. He struggled with the buckle at first but once he got it undone, his pants were on the floor next to yours.
He stroked himself inside his boxers, making sure that he was fully erect before continuing any further. “Take of your underwear,” He whispered to you, fully noting that he still hadn’t taken them off.
You nodded your head and hooked your finger around the band. You slowly pulled them down your legs, attempting to make it as seductive as possible. Hyunwoo chuckled to himself and held your face, bringing you back into the kiss.
Without warning, he spread your legs further and pushed his hard into you. You groaned breathily, the stretch was painful but pretty soon even that was replaced with pleasure. “Are you alright?” He whispered to you.
You nodded your head and held onto him, urging him to start moving. Hyunwoo smiled and started to move in you, going slowly at first. He held your hips tightly as he thrust into you. You both clamped your eyes shut, your quiet moans were escalating in volume. At this point, you both knew that you could be heard loud and clear.
He picked up his pace, snapping his hips into yours. He was reaching all the right spots and it was evident that neither of you were going to be able to last much longer. Finally, when you were screaming his name, your high hit you. He thrust into you once more before he reached his own orgasm.
He held you tightly, as you both rode out your highs. Once you were finished, he pulled out of you and quickly grabbed a few pieces of paper towel to clean you and him up. The room was silent besides your quiet breathing.
Hyunwoo finally broke the silence. He handed you your underwear and pants and helped you pull them on. “So, since we’re both living here now, do you want to get dinner tomorrow? I’ll buy.” He asked timidly, the opposite of what you had just seen of him. You smiled and got off of the sink, your bottom half still sore. “Is this your way of asking me on a date?” You teased him. Hyunwoo looked down at his feet and then back up to you.
“Yes.”
You wrapped your arms around his waist and grinned. “I thought you would never ask.” You said, after eight years, he finally asked you out.
Copy of ask: Hi, I was wondering if I could request for a Monsta X Kihyun fic where y/n & mx normally chat on skype (y/n's their teacher through skype - maybe english or something) and y/n & kihyun always seem to almost hate each other and make fun of each other but kihyun gets jealous when y/n has a date after one of their session? It's upto you to decide whether or not he confesses and whether or not y/n feels the same. I don't know if I can request a genre but I'm okay with both angst or fluff. Thank you!

“Y/N is calling!” Changkyun screamed through the dorm. The loud padding of multiple pairs of feet could be heard throughout the larger apartment. One by one, each member came into the living room from their perspective areas in the dorm.
Hyungwon bent down near Changkyun’s head, seeing as your picture popped up on the small computer screen. The other members of the group soon joined, just to be able to talk to you through facetime.
“Hi guys!” You cheered once the video feed came through. Your brother sat front and center, smiling happily just to see you. You would call the group a few times a week, or you tried to at least. Sometimes they would get too busy to talk, thanks to all of the work they did for the company.
Changkyun grinned and waved. “How’s LA today?” He asked you. You looked around your empty dorm room and shrugged. “It’s warm and busy. Exams are coming up in a few weeks and after that, I’ll be home for the summer.” You told your older brother.
You were studying abroad for a year at a university in the US, much to your family’s approval. You had lived in quite a few countries in your life alongside your brother, so traveling abroad only felt natural.
Despite school and live thousands of miles away, you still called often to check on your brother and his bandmates, making sure that they were staying healthy and sane. Well, maybe not sane, but you made sure they were eating well and sleeping as much as possible.
“What’s on the schedule for today?” You asked the boys. You watched as your brother turned to the older members, looking for an answer to your question. Hyunwoo smiled but shook his head, “We have dance practice in a few hours and that should take up most of our day.” He said to you quietly.
You nodded your head and looked at all the members. One was missing. Your scrunched up your nose and recounted. There were only six of them. “Where’s Kihyun?” You asked them all.
Minhyuk looked around, wide eyed, as he searched for Kihyun. When he wasn’t found, Minhyuk turned back to you and shrugged. “Not here...but do you think it’d be a good idea if he was?” Minhyuk poked.
Changkyun nodded and sighed, “Everytime you two talk, you end up yelling at each other.” He reminded you. You thought back to your most recent calls with the boys. A few days ago, you had ended the call by calling Kihyun a ‘Pompous Asshole.’ The one before that, he had called you a ‘Whiny Brat’ because you were complaining about one of your professors.
To say the least, you didn’t have the best relationship with Yoo Kihyun. You never knew why. You were fairly close to the rest of the members, they liked you and acted as if you weren’t just Changkyun’s little sister, but their own as well. Kihyun on the other hand had always hated you. You could only remember a few select times where you had a decent conversation with the singer and it never ended in a fight.
You thought your relationship with him was starting to get better at some point. He was kinder and seemed truly happy when you were around. Though, that was before you announced that you would be leaving for America in the next coming weeks.
It had gotten worse after that. He was snide and mean in all of his actions towards you. Now you couldn’t see him without a fight breaking out.
“It’s not my fault that he can’t keep his stupid mouth shut whenever we talk,” You grumbled into the computer.
“And it’s not my fault that you’re always acting like a brat.” You heard Kihyun’s voice say from behind the rest of the boys. He walked up slowly as he entered the room. He crossed his arms and stared at the screen, a small frown on his face.
You furrowed your brows, you were in no mood to deal with his antics today. You ran your hand through your hair and picked up your phone to check the time. “I have class soon and then I have a date.” You said casually as you told them about your upcoming day.
Changkyun’s eyes widened, his mouth slightly ajar. “You have a date? With who? How old is he? What major is he studying.” He asked frantically. He was becoming very protective over this matter.
You rolled your eyes and rested your head on your hand. “His name Choi Hansol. He’s nineteen, like me, and he’s studying music theory.” You listed off all the details about your date, making sure your brother knew everything but his social security number and his mother’s maiden name.
The other members cooed and started a whole fuss about it. “Is he cute?” Hoseok poked at you. He winked one of his brown eyes flirtingly. You buried your face in your hands now. “Sure,” was all that came out, a slight blush crept along your cheeks.
You heard Kihyun scoff out. He turned his head and began walking away. “I bet he’s as ditzy and annoying as you are.” Kihyun said before leaving fully.
You sighed and looked to the other members, visibly hurt. Usually his words never bothered you, but they’ve been slowly getting to you over the past few weeks. Changkyun bowed his head and smiled apologetically. “I’ll talk to him after this, don’t worry.” He said, he brought his head back up and flashed you a toothy grin. “Have fun on your date, we’ll talk to you tomorrow. Bye Y/N, love you.” Your brother said before hanging up.
You leaned back in your revolving desk chair, and moved it so you were facing the beds. Your roommate’s bed sheets began shuffling around as he slowly made his way out from under the bed. “You think I’m cute?” He smirked.
You rolled your eyes and reached over to your bed and grabbed a pillow. You chucked it at Hansol playfully. “Not even a little bit,” You retorted back as he threw the pillow back at you. You laughed and caught the pillow. “I can’t believe you were into that Kihyun guy, he sounds like an ass.” Hansol murmured to you, flashing one of his bright, signature smiles.
You shook your head, “I don’t know why I still am, do you think we made him jealous?” You asked your best friend and roommate. Hansol nodded and smirked, “If he is in any way interested in you, he’ll be jealous.” He said smugly.
You took a deep breath and crossed your arms. You sure hoped so.
Changkyun pulled Kihyun aside after he hung up on you. “At first, I let how you talked to my sister slide. You said you liked her and I know how bad you are at expressing your feelings. I figured that you would eventually straighten yourself out and tell her. This has gone too far, Kihyun. I can’t let you keep on talking to my sister like that.” Changkyun said firmly, getting straight to the point.
Kihyun sucked in a deep breath and nodded. “I know, I know. I’m sorry. I don’t know what washes over me when I see her. I just get bitter that she’s not here and that she’ll never return my feelings, especially now that she’s going on a date with that idiot.”
Changkyun shook his head and looked to his hyung. “Tell her that instead of harassing her.” He said, annoyed with him. Changkyun sighed and walked away, leaving Kihyun alone to think about what he said. He had to say something…
He called you about an hour after that, his hands were shaking and his heart was racing. He had repressed his feelings for you for so long. He wanted to welcome them at first, you were so kind and funny and the prettiest girl he had ever seen. But when he realized what his feelings for you could do for his career and relationship with Changkyun, he bottled them up.
Though, he was being quite dramatic in that aspect. These repressed feelings caused him to become bitter towards you, hoping that if he acted like he hated you, then he would actually start to.
Though, it never worked out.
He dialed your number and hoped to whatever was in the sky that you would pick up. By the fourth ring, you answered the phone with slight annoyance. “What do you want, Kihyun?” You groaned into the phone.
“Y/N, we need to talk.” He said calmly. Though his nerves were throw the roof. You were still in your dorm room, doing homework with Hansol. “What do you want to talk about?” You hoped your tone didn’t come off too aggressive.
He took a deep breath to ready himself. “I’m ripping the bandaid off...I have feelings for you. I have for a long time. I’m sorry about how I treat you, you really don’t deserve that. You’re not a brat and you’re not a heartless bitch. You are the nicest, funniest, and most beautiful girl I have ever met. I just needed to call and get that off my chest, so uh, talk to you later.” He said the last part hurriedly, like he was trying to get off the phone as fast as possible.
“Kihyun,” You said quietly. You glanced over to Hansol, who was listening intently. “It worked,” You mouthed to him. He nodded and smiled excitedly. “Do you want me to cancel my date tonight?” You asked him.
Kihyun hadn’t expected this reaction from you. He didn’t know what to say. “I-uh, maybe? Yes.” He fumbled around with his words until he formed a functional answer. You smiled and nodded your head. “I like you too by the way. You’re also not a pompous asshole who cares only about himself.” You murmured the last part, but Kihyun heard it loud and clear. He was too happy about the confession to care though.
“I also promise not to be mean to you or insult you. I’ll be the nicest man you know.” You laughed and shook your head. “Sure, I’ll only cancel my date on one condition, Yoo Kihyun.” You said to him.
“And what is your condition?” He asked.
“If I cancel my date, you have to take me on one the day I get home.” You heard Kihyun sigh out in relief. “I can do that. In fact, I’ll start planning it now. I need to make up for how I’ve been treating you.” He said.
He looked to the time and frowned. “I’ll talk to you later, we need to get to the studio.” You nodded your head, but before he hung up, he told you one last thing. “Hey Y/N, I like you a lot. Have a good day.” He said before hanging up.
You sat back in the chair, smiling like an idiot. It was amazing to hear those words spill from his cruel lips.
A/N: Happy birthday @haybob17!! This fic is for you on this special day. I hope you enjoy! Sorry it’s a little short... - Kay
The music was too loud, the lights too bright. The stench of alcohol wafted through the air like a thick cloud. You lost your friend about an hour ago to the large grind circle that was happening in the middle of the large living room.
You held you drink close to you, afraid of leaving it behind anywhere and being able to find it again. This was not how you wanted to spend your Saturday night; standing aimlessly in the middle of a party.
You looked around to find anyone to talk to, but just your luck, the one party your friend dragged you to consisted of no one you knew or no one you were particularly friendly with. You sighed to yourself and leaned against the railing leading up to the stairs, counting down the minutes until you could go home and sleep.
“Not having fun?” You heard a voice come from beside you. You turned your head and saw a young man lean against the railing next to you. His smile was devilishly contagious. It was bright like the sun but it was also cocky and arrogant.
You shrugged your shoulders and looked away from his handsome face. “Not really, this party is really boring.” You admitted to him. The stranger raised his eyebrows and crossed his arms, his smile turned teasing.
“You think?” He asked, he slowly made his way to sit on one of the steps while you continued to stand. You nodded your head and finally set your drink on a side table by the stairs. “Yeah, the music is really shitty and couldn’t the host invest in some good alcohol?” You complained. The host was a friend of your best friend, Jin-Woo. He went to a different school on the other side of town and you believed his name was Jungkook.
The stranger threw his hands up, laughing. “I don’t know, he sounds cheap though.” The stranger grinned as he set his hands back down at his sides.
You continued to rant about the party for a few minutes to the stranger until Jin-Woo finally came up to you. “Where have you been?” You asked her, clearly annoyed by her absence. “I’ve been dancing, calm down.” She groaned. You could tell in her voice that she was just a little tipsy from the drinks.
She looked over to the stranger next to you and smiled. “Oh hey Jungkook!” She cheered. Your eyes widened once you heard his name come off of your friend’s lips. Jungkook? The stranger you had been ranting to was the host of the party.
Jungkook stood up and clapped his hands together. He looked down to you and smirked. “Well it’s been nice talking to you, but I have to go look after my ‘boring’ party.” He winked and left you and Jin-Woo alone.
She looked to you in confusion. “What was that all about?” She asked you, taking another swig of her drink. You shook your head and pointed to the door. “I think I’m going to head out. I’ll see you tomorrow.” You grinned. You ignored Jin-Woo’s protests as you left the house, just a little embarrassed about insulting the party.
You got a text message later that night.
Jungkook: ‘If you thought the party was boring, what’s your definition of fun then?’ The message read. You stared at it for a few seconds, wondering how he got your number.
You: ‘How’d you get my number?’
Less than a minute later he texted back.
Jungkook: ‘I asked your friend for it and she gave it to me.’
You cursed her name under your breath. You really wished she wouldn’t give out your number freely like that. You sighed and texted him back.
You: ‘What do you want?’
Jungkook: ‘To know what your version of fun is.’
You: ‘Why?’
Jungkook: ‘So I can show you a fun time ;)’
You: ‘Do you know how creepy you sound?”
Jungkook: ‘I didn’t mean it like that. I want to know what you think is fun so I can plan my next party around it.’
You laughed, was he seriously doing this? You shook your head and read the messages.
You: ‘Why do you want to do that?’ You texted him back.
Jungkook: ‘So I can prove to you that my parties are the best things since sliced bread.’
You: Goodnight Jungkook
You set your phone down on your nightstand and smiled, he was a character that’s for sure. You smiled a little, if he was so adamant about getting to know your favorite things then he was going to have to work for it.
You went to a baseball game that following Friday night. Jin-Woo dragged you to the baseball game the same way she dragged you to that party. She claimed that she was talking to one of the guys on the other team and she didn’t want to go alone to the game.
Despite the fact that the team was going against your school’s, the two of you sat on the rivaling team’s side. When the baseball players walked onto the field, she hit your arm excitedly and pointed to the boy in the number 95 jersey.
“That’s him! That’s Taehyung!” She called out, maybe a little too loudly. Taehyung turned around and waved to Jin-Woo, a big, boxy grin on his face. You laughed and looked at the other baseball players. They were all pretty attractive, you had to admit but you really weren’t there to look at their looks the entire time.
That is, until one of the players caught your attention. As the player’s were warming up before the game, you turned and nudged Jin-Woo in the side. You pointed to the player who sported the number 96 jersey.
“Is that Jungkook?” You asked her. Your friend nodded and smiled. “Yeah, he’s their pitcher. Taehyung was telling me that he’s been scouted by four universities already!” Jin-Woo said excitedly.
You nodded your head, he just became a little bit more intriguing. You kept a steady eye on Jungkook the entire game. He was amazing and you couldn’t tear your eyes away. You had played softball for years, but even your pitching arm couldn’t match his.
At some point during the game, you were cheering against your own team. After they had won and after Jin-Woo had nearly broken your hand by clutching it too hard, she had pulled you down to the dugout to meet Taehyung.
He was even more attractive up close, so were all of the other players. Taeyhung draped his arm around Jin-Woo’s shoulder. “Thanks for coming, Jin-woo.” He told her, a bit of shyness in his voice.
Jin-Woo nodded and smiled. “It was amazing! You guys crushed us.” Despite your school’s loss, she couldn’t have been happier. Taeyhyung nodded and pointed to Jungkook, who was packing up his things outside the dugout. “We have Kookie to thank for that. The batters couldn’t keep up with his fastballs.” He chuckled and called for Jungkook to come over.
Jungkook looked up and nodded, setting his things aside. Jungkook froze when he saw you standing next to Taehyung. He grinned and then quickened his pace. “So do you like baseball?” He asked loudly.
You shrugged your shoulders. You loved baseball, but he wasn’t going to know that. “I suppose,” You said casually, making it seem like you could care less. Jungkook raised and finger, “Perfect, one step closer!”
You rolled your eyes and shook your head. “Not even close.”
Well, maybe he was. Just a little bit.
As Jin-Woo became closer to Taehyung, you slowly became closer to Jungkook. There were nights were the four of you would hang out. Everytime you hung out together, Jungkook would go home with new knowledge about one more thing that you liked.
You protested it at first, but as time went on, you wanted to get closer to Jungkook as well. He was sweet and a lot less cocky than you originally thought and you wondered if you were actually catching feelings for the baseball player.
You were sitting on Taehyung’s couch, watching a movie with the others. Jin-Woo sat next to Taehyung, kissing him while you and Jungkook awkwardly third and fourth wheeled with the couple.
Jungkook laughed breathlessly, he turned to you and leaned in close. Your breath hitched in your throat as his face moved much too close to your own. He smiled at seeing your unease. “I can finally plan your party. It’ll be tomorrow at eight. Don’t be late.” He brought his finger up and playfully tapped your nose before pulling his face away.
You stared up at him, still a little shocked by the sudden display of flirting. Jungkook smirked and turned his attention back to the movie, leaving you still a little flustered.
You arrived at Jungkook’s house a few minutes after eight. The first thing you noticed when you pulled into Jungkook’s large driveway is the lack of cars. There were no cars besides yours and his own.
You furrowed your brows and slowly walked into Jungkook’s house. Once you did, the silence of the house fully alarmed you. “Hello?” You yelled through the seemingly empty house. Jungkook came running out of the kitchen, a box of pizza in his hands.
“Welcome to the party, Y/N! Glad you could come.” He said happily. You looked around and then back at him. “Where is everyone?” You asked as you took your shoes off and looked around.
Jungkook smiled and pointed to the living room. “This is it, this is your party. I have a baseball game recorded, a few movies, blankets, food, and music. After weeks of observing, I finally understood what you do and don’t like.”
You crossed your arms and smiled. “Oh really?”
He nodded and set the pizza down. “Yeah. You don’t like big parties, you just like movies, food and spending time with people you like.” He pointed to himself and wiggled his eyebrows jokingly.
“How do you know I like you?” You teased him.
He smirked and reached over for your shoulders and leaned his head down closer to yours. “Because you would pull away if you didn’t.” He whispered. You sighed happily and placed just a ghost of a kiss on his lips but pulled away quickly.
You wiggled out of his grasp and walked towards the pizza. You looked back to him and winked. “You’re going to have to work for it, Jeon Jungkook.” You said as you took a bite of pizza.
Jungkook shook his head but picked you up by the waist and pulled you down on the couch next to him. “That, I can do.” He said as he put on the baseball game. You eased relaxed in his hold and leaned your head against his shoulder.
