[Capricious Past]
@littleapprenticeone
Wonderfully grand day to have a faulty travel, Luke’s head pounded painfully. There was nothing going wrong between the time streams, why was it such a shaky ride? He had to look into that later since he wasn’t equipped with any forms of technology to check upon that. He could travel back, but the machine had to recharge and it would be an unfortunate waste to do nothing in a place that looks like a London of the past with glimmering lights and voices of all sorts jumbled together in a form of incoherent sound.
And that’s how London should forever be in the future. And Luke was going to make it so.
“Ah, bloody hell.”
There was no escaping the crowd it seems for every turn there was people, chattering about, going excruciatingly slowly as they loitered. Fortunately, he had enough currency to provide him with a good bit of transportation, just no idea where the bus stops were. Gressenheller University... that was a good place to start. His mind’s probably clouded with the obnoxious pain his head was giving him. Perhaps the old professor would be kind enough to spare him a cup of tea if he had the chance.
Tentatively pushing his way through the crowds, he had seen a rather familiar blue hat. One that looked exactly like his own. That put alarms in his head, the boy doesn’t know the future, he definitely wouldn’t know how his future self would look like, hopefully. Clive wasn’t entirely wrong with his guise of future Luke of ‘Future London’.
Though if that boy was here, he must know where the professor is, or is with the professor. It’s amazing how one cannot bear to leave another.
“Excuse me, do you know where Hershel Layton might be?”
