Phil likes to think he’s observant. It’s one of his best qualities probably, that and his encyclopedic memory and ability to think outside the box. So working close to the Avengers he notices things and compensates. He makes sure certain food is always on hand, certain kinds of coffee and tea as well. He also gets a sense of everyone’s normal day to day moods.

Everyone has ups and downs but it’s easy to notice that Steve is feeling lower than usual. Phil gave it a little time to see if it would pass, then stepped over, waiting to be acknowledged before talking. “Is there something you need, Captain?”

Except he does and Bucky still hasn’t bought that new pack that he owes Steve.  He’ll get around to it, but he just needs one stick of charcoal now.  His inspiration just hit him hard and-

Cleo absolutely hated this. She couldn't find her dog anywhere. She kept calling for him, posting up flyers of him as far as she could, kept calling out for him.. He always came when he heard his name. He was her dog.
