Briwats in Arabic means “little envelops”. These little triangle shaped “feuilletés” can be served either as salted appetizers or as delicate sweets. Made with wheat flour, it is called warqa, which literally means “paper sheet” in allusion to its thinness. Once baked, it turns delightfully crispy. The pastry itself is quite difficult to make at home 😁 #Briwat #MoroccanPastries #Crispy #LittleEnvelops #HomeMadePastries
