She shouldn’t have been so reckless in the process. Even if she remained unhurt or well was hurt, she healed quickly. What ever damage she had would have healed in a matter of an hour depending on the severity. “

He still holds her close, stroking the back of her head and closing his eyes. “Right... Just be more careful in the future. Let me do all the fighting alright? Don’t put yourself in danger... It does put plenty of stress on me...” He kisses her cheek however. “But I’m glad you were there, you saved that girl, Bullet.” He says and then pulls back. “...Mmn...”

Ragna didn’t know anyone was there. He was out at the edge of town, alone... he always preferred to be alone when these... feelings, came over him? Well, he didn’t know what to call it, but when he felt this way, he kind of just wanted to hide. He didn’t know how to handle them, and didn’t want anyone to see him in this state.

And then someone found him. Someone he recognized... 

“D-Delta?! W-what are you doing here?!” He pulled his coat over his body to hide his, um, excitement. It wasn’t doing as good a job as he would like.

It wasn’t unusual for Celica to call for him to meet up with her. They were friends, okay a bit more than that now,  and so it wasn’t uncommon for her to ask to meet him somewhere. But this time was... different. 

She’d told him they had to talk about something. And while Ragna was a bit sheltered when it came to social situations, he knew that “we need to talk” or “I want to talk to you about something important” meant big news. Or at least something more serious than the usual fare. 

He knew he shouldn’t be nervous. Celica wasn’t the type to just toss out life-changing news all of a sudden. But all the same, knowing the situation made his heart pound. 

“O-oh! Celica! You’re here.” His voice went up in pitch from the tension, but he tried to reign it in. “Uh, soooo.... what’d you wanna talk about?”
