Hi, I'm brand new to Tumblr, and while I love love love seeing your stuff show up on my dash (very interesting and thought-provoking!), I noticed your warning that you do porn spams and to blacklist certain tags. How do I do that? Sorry if it's completely obvious, but I've only been on Tumblr a month, and don't know how to do anything other than follow blogs and reblog. Thanks!
hi! so, if you're using chrome for your browser, there's an extension you can get called xkit (i think it's called new-xkit-extension or something but i'm still using the outdated one so i'm not sure). it just enhances tumblr and gives it a ton of extra features (i recommend everyone use it!) one thing it can do is blacklist tags, so you could blacklist #nsfw and never see any posts at all that are tagged nsfw. you'll definitely want to do that on my blog because i do post porn spams once every week or two, but i also give several warnings so you can avoid tumblr for an hour or so if need be. now idk if xkit is just for chrome or if it works on firefox or safari, so maybe someone else can weigh in on that.
