You’re Invited to Flat Butcher’s Party

Where to begin explaining about the Flat Butcher experience! The latest pop up brought to you by the Little Nan’s crew. Newly opened in Fitzrovia, a short walk from Warren Street station, you can opt for a more civilised afternoon tea within the upstairs of the venue, or head downstairs for guaranteed debauchery and hilarious bants! Flat Butcher is a tribute to one of Eastender’s most iconic actresses, Pat Butcher. There’s hilarious framed photos of the Pat, Frank, Janine and the rest of the faves also a giant speaker so you can be your own DIY DJ. If you purchase a ticket to her flat party a bottomless brunch greets you, with endless Prosecco and three fruity yet potent cocktails. The food wasn’t the most glam of spreads, but what can you expect for a two hour boozeathon full of hen do’s and birthday parties! With smoked salmon on crackers, falafel, pittas and houmous and roast beef sandwiches (these were actually amazing, I even got the leftovers boxed up)! Also heaps of Haribo sweets and chocolate tea cakes. Mustn’t forget the fancy dress, your invited to go through the wardrobe rails to get your cheetah print fix! All in all a crazy and memorable two hours!

Getting out the 'good' china!

Little Nan's have spread their wings and popped up a bonkers new bar under the Rio cinema in Dalston.  What started off as a nostalgic nod to the 90's has now become the most crazily decorated decor I've ever seen.  A mash up of kitsch royal family souvenir plates, animal ceramics and crochet dolls.  Music, film and TV posters from Spice Girls to Backstreet Boys and Friends.  There is a huge pick and mix section you can help yourself to. Also free popcorn freshly popped and warm and a huge punch sits by the bar, on offer to sip between teapots.  You're invited to select your mug on entry and then peruse the quirky menu (stuck inside Prince Charles photo books!) to find your teapot of choice, with boozy cocktails based around gin, vodka, rum, tequila and prosecco.  Now for the prop room.  Yes that right, a whole room dedicated to fun!  Fancy dress hats, props and wigs were laid out for you to dress up and take Gif's you could send straight to your phones.  Honestly I've never had so much fun in a bar, perfect for a date, a birthday or even to wow your parents! Hands down my new favourite bar in London!
