I am so in love with this amazing birthday present from @littleplasticrat that she did for my Raphael/Tav fic. I have stared at this for an hour already throughout the day (and I was working!!!)😭

This captures Keeping Score!Tav so well. She's unbothered and messy and she loves pastries (paid actors in the fic) and her munching on a croissant until Human!Raphael nearly loses it is just one of my fav fic moments 😍😍😍

🦜 Which artists inspire you?

Ohh a neverending question!! I find a lot of inspiration in german dark romanticism and symbolism, especially when it comes to colors and atmosphere. Notable mentions are Caspar David Friedrich and Ernst Ferdinand Oehme. CDF:

I love Oskar Zwintscher for the same reasons plus his composition!

Somewhat in the same vein is my fav artist above all else, Nicola Samori. His master studies are one thing but i love his manipulation of material and the way it changes the perception of the piece itself. I look to him for texture inspo and the general mood a lot!!

I also love Georges de Feure for his balance of rendering and color blocking and general composition!!

i've drawn for as long as i could hold a crayon in my hands, so i cant really remember why i started 😅 i started doing digital after i got a kindle touch (!!!) for my birthday in 2012, but i wouldnt actually get a graphics tablet until 2017 :]

🧠 What is a drawing tool you can't live without?

🐡 What is something you worried about a lot when you first started, and why don't you worry about it any more?

🧠 nowadays, that's my brush pen, the kind with ink in the handle that directly feeds the brush. The range you can get in brush strokes is great, and the texture lends itself well to my creepier art.

Some good examples of it include my ATSV OC and my OTGW fanart

🐡 I used to be really hung up on developing a Proper Art Style, but now I'm aware that it's a thing that just happens to your art without you realizing it, like an accent. You just draw things that are fun to you enough times and soon people start saying you have an art style.
