“Ahahaha!” 

A broad laugh escapes the android as he stands at the edge sidewalk, watching cars go by at awkward intervals with an avid fascination. As if he’s never really seen one before, almost.

“What’s going on? There are people in those, right? Oh, I don’t even remember what they’re called--uh, cams? Carts? Something! But I don’t remember them moving like that!”

At which point he jabs his finger out at one in particular, watching as it goes by, almost as if it were stuck in molasses instead of on pavement.

“You’re safe here.”

Eyes shot open as a voice awoke him from his thoughts.  It had been awhile, but he felt as if he had dozed off and relived something truly gruesome.  How he felt ... he could remember the warm fluids, the soft tissue ... He could remember her last words to him before he poisoned her.  Now ... he was staring at a little girl that seemed to have found him sitting back in a daze.  Was he screaming out?  Was he sweating? ... Where was he?

“Ok... Ok... I just need to calm down... Caalm down. Everything’s aaalright.” He tried to reassure himself, though it’s not helping him calm his breathing down. Just a second ago he was pointing a gun at the one he used to call ‘brother’ and-. Thinking about it just makes it worse... 

“No- no! First off, no one’s pointing a gun at me right now, I’m not pointing a gun at anyone, and- ugh... Everything’s just so weird and yet looks really familiar. I-I can make it through this... I just need to find the nearest town militia and- and... No I’ll still be lost.” He didn’t even know where he was right now. He falls to the ground and covers his face in frustration. “I need help...” He mutters to himself. Though he’d never admit this sort of thing in front of his men, his men weren’t there. So he could at least indulge himself for once. His thoughts are interrupted by a tiny girl coming up to him.

Oh no he acted like that in front of someone anyways. “...Sorry I’m out of my game right now- what?” What the heck was that!? Out of his game? That barely made any sense. “...I don’t even know what I just said. What’s wrong with me?” He mutters to himself clutching his face with his hands.

      【★】Who needs friends when you can talk to random people around you who happen to be babies? Eh, they got less opinions than full grown people, but despite that, he’d ask a rather heavy question that was on his mind. “Hey.... have ya’ ever had to spend a birthday here?”

       Women and children were two kind of humans the Tengu could not stand being next to. Not that he hated them ( he didn’t ), but... How should he say it... They were unpredictable. Even though the women he had met were all foxes in reality, it had left some sort of trauma inside of him. It wasn’t a memory he liked to remember, it always sent chills down his spine and made his feathers stand up ( which he hated ), and so, really, he tried his hardest to stay as far as possible from those.

       So to think he would have pity on a female human child... Hakue was really too kind of a youkai.

       ❝ ... ... ... ... ❞ He wants to say something. He reeeeally does, but it’s not coming out. His golden eyes just stare back and forth at this child, so much shorter than him, yet he says nothing. Even his wings are getting as restless as he is.
