It’d been quite a busy night, not that Akihito actually remembered any of it. He’d come to the city of drunks, whores and gambling for a break from the troubles of life. Of course he had planned to get drunk, who goes to Vegas not expecting to wake up the next morning kicking themselves and wondering why on earth they thought it was a good idea in the first place.
The night before things had gone quite smoothly at first, he’d gone to a bar and watched the girls when this lovely darling with glasses slinked on in. Well, he said slinked but with how drunk he’d already become at the time she could have fallen through the door for all he knew. What he did take notice of though were the glasses that adorned her face. That drew him in and soon he was using all sorts of stupid pick up lines that would only seem like a good idea to someone wasted off the face of the planet.
Akkey unfortunately did not remember this though, perhaps he remembered entering the bar? He wasn’t sure, but now was time for the morning after and opening an eye he cringed at the ceiling. His head hurt with a hangover, something he’d forseen but nothing he could deal to right. Just drink a shit load of water and down half a packet of painkillers. He’d be fine~. Okay… perhaps we should take that back, as he stretched his hand brushed over the body of another. Bolting upright he shuffled away from the woman who lay in his bed. Who the hell was she?! She wasn’t covered in glitter so he doubted she was a whore.
In an awkward panic Akkey rolled off the bed and thudded to the floor, “Let me get you a blanket!” he yelped covering his eyes. 'Why the heck had he thought coming to this city was a good idea.'
Morning soon did pass though, and awkwardly. With neither of them entirely sure what had happened the night before. But once they’d gathered their stuff, figured out the main thing that they had married each other while in a drunk stupor they headed to the nearest lawyers office with the plan of divorce. Besides, they didn’t know each other at all, there was no point in staying together. But the thing is, there was a small little thing the two didn’t realize upon marriage, they’d have to stay together for at least a week. Together they sat outside the office, Akkey held his head in his hands, “I’m so sorry.” he mumbled to the woman, not that he minded being married to her that much at all. She was gorgeous. The desire to wrap her in a big cozy blanket and cuddle her was immense, plus she looked delightful with her glasses. “Are you sure you don’t remember anything?” he questioned looking up from his hands for a moment.
{Made it a human AU as well, otherwise Akkey probably wouldn’t suffer with a hangover.}
