top 5 memories

These are in no particular order, but these are memories that I’m thinking about right now.

5. There was this one night that I spontaneously went to drink with somebody on their roof at like 1 in the morning. It was a first for me because I had never drank with anybody before, though I didn’t actually get drunk. We didn’t have much in the way of drinks, sooooo. @nebulaphilic

4. There was this other night in Junior year where I was out until the sun came up with my close friend group and it was just a wild ride. It never happened, then we woke up at like 10:30 and we did some filming for a movie that we made. (and im currently recutting it)

3. My friend @achievements-in-space and I have a habit of just driving aimlessly sometimes, and the first time we did this was bloody hilarious because we were like, “Yo those clouds look hella weird, lets check them out,” and we ended up just driving down random sketchy streets and accidentally showed up at Woodman’s. We also had a lot of awesome conversations that nice, and there’s a video of me dancing to “Single Ladies” somewhere. <><>

2. At the end of the summer when all my friends were going back to college, I had this really chill night to hang with them all, and I got to say goodbye to one of my best friends, Wesley. It was an all around good night. We watched the Japanese Spider-Man, Yu-Gi-Oh Season 0, and did a bunch of other stuff. It was a good end to the summer.

1. At my New Year’s/Birthday Party, the night was coming to a close, and it was down to just Wesley, Ben, and Frog. @littlespacefrog We were all just chilling in my basement, Frog and I were falling asleep on each other. I was really content with life. Frog makes me so happy with everything. <3<3 It was getting pretty late though, so she had to drive home.Send me more stuff to do top fives of!

1: Do you try to stay away from walkthroughs?

Generally, yeah. Like, if I honestly cant figure out what im supposed to do, I will look it up, but I tend to be pretty good at video games that dont involve aiming. In games like that, it more like, "git gud noah"

2: Company you're always loyal to?

Nintendo and Valve

3: Best game you've ever played?

Well, it's not the best game I've ever played, but Majora's Mask is certainly my favourite.

4: Worst game you've ever played?

Roogoo, dont play it, it's a casual game that is just too easy and not interesting. I like casual games, and this one does not do it correctly.

5: A popular series/game you just can't get into no matter how much you try?

Oh man this is a toughie... I'd have to say Resident Evil, probably. Like, I tried playing the first one, but I got bored. Like, I know that it's a very good game, I just don't like that you have to get an item to save, it kind of ruins the immersion a bit.

6: A game that's changed you the most?

Pokemon Yellow and Ocarina of Time, I learned to read because of these games.

7: A game you'll never forget?

Last of Us, I haven't played it yet, but I'm watching a playthrough of it and it's got such a great story.

8: Best soundtrack?

Bioshock Infinite, Halo, Red Dead Redemption, and World of Warcraft all have amazing soundtracks.

9: A game you turn your volume off every time you play it?

I used to mute every game, but now the only games I mute are handhelds to save battery life. So if I'm on a charger i dont mute it.

10: A game you've completely given up on?

I don't think I have given up on any games, tbh. I'm always going to come back to a game that I've set down, it'll just take awhile.

11: Hardest game you've played?

Oh man, another tough question. Like, Binding of Isaac is really difficult, but I'm actually getting better at it, and even if you're technically good at that game, you're still going to die a lot because of the troll engine. Zelda II is really hard, but that's generally agreed upon. So fuck all of those, I'm going with Sim City. fuck that game it is unreasonably hard.

12: Shortest time you've beaten a game in?

First Portal in twenty minutes, but somehow i have fifteen hours logged on steam. i think that's from letting others play it.

13: A game you were the most excited for when it wasn't released yet?

Pokemon ORAS, third generation was my favourite and emerald is my favourite pokemon game. Also Skyward Sword.

14: A game you think would be cool if it had voice acting?

Shadow of the Colossus, I don't remember if that has voice acting. And um.... I really can't think of any. I know there are games where I'm playing them and thinking, "damn this game feels really empty it could use some voices." Speaking of empty, somebody should make a mod for skyrim that makes it feel like theres an actual war going on. and idk, just fill it with more life. because that game is depressingly empty. for a place that's in the midst of civil war, there is certainly not many battles.

15: Which two games do you think would make an awesome crossover?

Portal and Half-Life need a direct crossover. Pokemon with Final Fantasy? Idk

16: Character you've hated most? From what game?

Dex Oyama from Megaman Battle Network

17: What game do you never tell people you play?

ummmm... i dont think there are any that im not open about

18: A game you wish your friends knew about?

Grim Fandango, but apart from that, all of my friends are pretty in the know about video games.

19: Which game do you think deserves a revival?

The Mother series. I need those games on a modern system so bad.

It was either Ocarina of Time or Pokemon Yellow, I'm not sure.

I think three maybe? I'm not sure, I was really young, thank goodness for older siblings.

22: If you could immerse yourself in any game for one day, which game would it be? What would you do?

Pokemon, I would play with all the cute pokemon and befriend a murkrow.

23: Biggest disappointment you've had in gaming?

Megaman Battle Network 5 and 6. I liked all of the main games up until that point.

24: Casual, Hardcore, or in the middle?

Middle, I don't get super into games, I just play them for fun.

25: Be honest; have you ever used cheats (like ActionReplay or Gameshark)?

Hell yeah I have, but only for temporary use. I usually don't save if I use cheats. However, with the pokemon games I have cheated to get event pokemon, and only if the cheat allows me to do the actual event.

26: Handheld or console?

I don't compare the two, so no answer tbh

27: Has there ever been a moment that has made you cry?

Yes, video games make me cry a lot. Like... A lot

28: Which character's clothes do you wish you owned the most?

Protoman or Chaud from Battle Network. oh or um adeleine from Kirby 64

29: Which is more important, gameplay or story?

there needs to be a balance of both, but it is very possible to have a very good story with very good gameplay. in the end, if there is no story but there is incredibly excellent gameplay, i will definitely play it. If there is a great story but terrible gameplay, i might play it or i'll just read an in depth plot summary.

30: A game that hasn't been localized in your country that you think should be localized?

Mother, I don't think that's been localized yet, has it?
