As we all know, Space Jam is an isekai, but let's discuss exactly HOW it's an isekai.

The movie shows us that Michael Jordan is taken to the world of the Looney Tunes during a golf game with his good pals. It would be safe to assume that this is the moment when Mr. Jordan is taken to another world, right? Maybe to the average audience member of Space Jam, sure, this would go without question!

But there's a problem.

At another part in the movie, we're shown that Mr. Swackhammer and the other aliens exist in the same space that the Earth of the film exists in, NOT from the portal that Michael Jordan travels through to see the looney tunes. Furthermore, Marvin the Martian is literally from Mars.

This raises so many questions. The aliens from Moron Mountain are shown to be from a planet incredibly distant from earth, but they somehow share the same physical rules as the Martians? On top of this, they ALL share the same physical rules as the Looney Tunes who are apparently from another universe, but they don't share these rules with the inhabitants of Earth?

I would like to posit something that may sound crazy, but I think it holds water.

The entire Earth was isekai'd at some point in human history, and it switched places with the Looney Tunes Earth. We got a double isekai on our hands, baby!!!
