Introducing...
After four years of Little Taylor Swift Things, we have decided that this blog needs a little face lift. While we have both loved our time as co-owners here, life (school, graduation, jobs, weddings) has gotten in the way of us maintaining LTST and it’s just not fair to you guys. We’re very lucky to have so many people interested in what we blog about and we want to honor that by producing new and exciting content. We also recognize that the whole concept of LTST has just gotten a little tiring - I mean, 99% of the fandom knows Taylor has confetti during OOTW on tour, and does an Enchanted/Wildest Dreams mashup, and gives up light-up bracelets. We want to create something unique that would help fans connect to Taylor, since she does follow us.
We brainstormed ideas and have decided to turn Little Taylor Swift Things into
The Taylor Swift Art Collective.
This will be a collection of the best fan art we can find- everything from tour photography, graphics, paintings, tour costumes/signs, and YouTube covers. It gives Taylor the opportunity to see how incredibly creative her fans are, while giving fans the chance to get Taylor to see their work. It also allows us to promote and encourage creative and innovative artists- something we both care a lot about. While we’ll be discovering and posting as much as we can, we do also encourage people to submit art they love as well- whether it’s yours or a friend’s!
We hope you understand this change we’re making; thank you all so much for all of your support these past four years. It hasn’t always been easy, but we thank you for sticking with us during this “dry spell” we’ve had in the past year or so. Hopefully, this reinvention of the blog will give us the chance to become super involved again, and get Taylor to notice all of her fans’ artwork.
