Is it even worthwhile creating content on Instagram? This is a question I'm asking not because I'm going to stop but more just questioning the why. I originally didn't want to start creating as my content was never going to be anything like what I saw on Instagram. I don't think wealth signalling helps and actually I think its harmful for the younger gen. Success is different for everyone but thinking there is only one road to success isn't helping anyone. One thing that I find a challenge is engaging with people. Instagram seems to be predominantly a 'look at my life and how good it is' platform. Images can be easily staged to signal a feeling and the comment under can have nothing to do with the image🤷‍♂️ You see a image of a lambo then under the image is the text 'stay humble' 🤔 it's confusing to the young crowd. I think seeing so much of this content can turn off a lot of people from making something different. So I urge you to make the jump and join me to help even out the scales of the wealth signalling profiles to the living a joyful life without the need of anything material profiles. Sharing joyful content in a honest manner full of dribble and questioning. Content without the worry of keeping up a persona, character or image. Just open chats about life and how aiming for more freedom can open you up to so much joy you don't need to work towards happiness. That perspective brings awareness to realising you have more control of your life than you ever thought. That awareness allows you to be joyful in the moment, joyful right now not having to wait or look to the future. Happiness is a flow of emotion. There are times where you feel like dog sh*t and that's important as sh+t times happen and working through suffering brings awareness. Joy is in you right now and always will be. The joy of life is happing right now not in the future. The future is unknown, unlock that joy and do exactly what you want now and enjoy the learning experience. Well... That got a little weird.
