The comic of Liu'er and Wukong splitting takes place after Journey to the west! Liu'er is angry at wukong for this reason here, basically locking him up for years until Wukong completed the journey.
As for the question of will they reconcile, you'll have to wait and see haha! Trust me their story isn't done yet!
