If you’re expecting a person to do something or act a certain way, you are only setting yourself up for disappointment. Many of our biggest disappointments occur because we expect others to act a certain way towards us. When we stop expecting people to act the way we think they should and remember everyone is their own person and makes their own choices we gain a higher level of happiness. Putting our happiness in our own choices rather then expecting others to make us happy changes our entire lives.
