The Perks of the Job
So, last summer I began working for Live UK; a crazy busy music business magazine run just off Baker Street.
There a many perks to the job; interesting creative work, building relationships with key people in the industry, & only a 2 minute walk from the 'Smoked Root Vegetable and Bean' soup, (Pret)! (A foodie passion of mine, so much so, that my sister has renamed me 'Pret a Manger' on her iphone contact list.
The job involves lots of networking, and along with this comes many an invitation to industry related events.
The only downside to these exciting outings are the following working day's productivity...
