Vitamin D will help to strengthen bones and help to absorb calcium which benefits us by circulating blood, moving muscles and transport messages from the brain to other parts of the body. The big one is helping improve your immune system to fight of infections like the common flu. There isn’t a specific amount of time you need to spend in the sun but for my own benefit I like to spend about 30mins in the sun each day or take a supplement on days that are terrible for going outside. My skin is fairly light so I don’t need as long in the sun to absorb my daily dose but if you are darker you might need longer.
