This was a fairly simple composition.

The hardest challenge was learning the mobile user interface of mobile garageband.  I liked the FX features in particular.  After learning the controls I mapped Apple’s “Live Loops” to pads.  Pads within the same rows cannot be played at the same time.  Columns can be played all together with one button.  Using this knowledge I mapped the pads in an order that was pleasing to me.  I hit record and improvised on the pad.  After recording I edited a section out I didn’t like and removed the FX I had been messing around with.  The FX that are added during recording are recorded as a separate track and are very easy to delete.
