The Elusive Vermilion Rose
My first drawing for the LLYBB!
I teamed up with @abarero for the @liveloveyoibang and wow it has all my favorite tropes! Definitely had a blast drawing these brave boys!! <3
Yuuri is a half youkai from Edo era Japan. Trapped under a misplaced curse, he awakens in the modern era and meets Victor, a photojournalist living in Tokyo. With nowhere to go and no clue what’s going on, Yuuri is taken in by Victor.
As Yuuri, for his own reasons, tries to distance himself from his past, it keeps popping up in unexpected; sometimes pleasant, sometimes unpleasant ways. Can Yuuri reconcile his past so he can embrace his future with Victor?
Features Phichit as Yuuri’s best friend, a kinnon, Minako as a resourceful kitsune, and Chris as Victor’s friend from work, who is happy Victor found someone, but didn’t exactly expect it to be a cute boy with dragon antlers.

Summary:
It’s been two years since Yuuri Katsuki fell to injury during competition and stepped down from skating. After leaving the sport, he was given an opportunity to help manage the rink where the upcoming NHK cup will be held. Viktor Nikiforov is preparing to skate in his last Grand Prix when he starts receiving threatening signs from an anonymous entity. Viktor, against his better judgment, ignores the threats. When Viktor arrives at Yuuri’s rink for the NHK cup, Yuuri refuses to ignore the threats to Viktor’s safety. He takes it upon himself to ensure Viktor’s safety, no matter the cost.

As the revolution builds in Larussia, a masked vigilante appears to whisk those destined for execution to safety. Not about to have his plans ruined, the king gives his two sons an offer they can’t refuse: discover this masked man’s identity if you wish to be heir to the throne.
The youngest prince knows this is his only chance at the throne, while the older prince, Victor, finds himself caught in the middle; as his curiosity about the elusive Eros dances ever closer to affection.
Meanwhile Yuuri Katsuki, a tailor from the neighboring country of Yamato, has been traveling back and forth more than usual... clearly because of the nobility clamoring to have the emperor’s own tailor make their clothes. And Yuuri and his three friends definitely don’t have anything to do with the so-called masked vigilantes in the Society of the Vermilion Rose. Nope, not at all.
