A bit chilly out today, going on a walk through the woods to forage for fiddle heads and leeks

I told myself this year I would make an effort to learn more about what edible roots vegetables and fungi grow near me. Today is my second day out wandering and gathering.

Landscaping can include the whole family. Its fun, educational and builds confidence in the lil ones! This small plot was once filled with weeds and Yucca.
