Dreamcatchers were made by Native Americans as a tool to filter dreams - they were woven in such a way as to catch bad dreams in their web while letting good dreams through. I wove this dreamcatcher to filter and channel the universal energy that flows through and around us. A piece of polished rutilated quartz is placed at its center, in order to channel and amplify that energy. Rutilated quartz is an energizing stone that assists with mental focus. It is also said to attract love and stabilize relationships. It is associated with the solar plexus chakra, but it can be used to assist any of the chakras return to normal spin and balance. Rutilated quartz can also assist one increase feelings of independence and ability to find one's own way. In the psychic and spiritual realms, rutilated quartz is used for meditation, spiritual communications, and dream work. I’ve been putting together some crystal and smudge bundles. This bundle was created with the intention of assisting in the opening of the chakras and to align one with their true path.  These smudge bundles are made of wild thyme, sage and Texas wildlflowers collected and dried by me. Handpicked raw crystals including calcite, amethyst and clear quartz. I have included an alter candle onto which I have attached drawn chakra symbols. These two power pendants are now available in my etsy store. Raw quartz crystal points are handwrapped in copper wire and paired with faceted  serpentine (left) and amethyst (right). They crystals are hung from thick antiqued brass chain measuring 29″ in total length and are fully adjustable to any shorter length.
