No era el momento de implementar un incremento salarial como lo autorizó el gobierno federal, considerando los factores económicos que tienen las empresas, pero por si fuera poco, esto pudiera originar la migración de inversiones no sólo de ciudades, sino de países, consideró el secretario de Desarrollo Económico en Tamaulipas, Carlos García González. Recordó que en el caso de Matamoros se vive un momento tenso, ya que se habla de nueva cuenta de un "bono", pero se está negociando, ya que no es propiamente el aumento en si del 15 por ciento, es un porcentaje inferior conforme a las cláusulas y a la ley de salarios mínimos que se autorizo. Explicó que hace dos años ya lo habían hecho, habían sacado aumentos que crean confusión, en esta ocasión volvió a suceder lo mismo, al autorizar un 6 por ciento directo al salario mínimo y se pone un Monto Independiente de Recuperación (MIR) de 9 por ciento, lo cual debería de parecer un aumento del 15 por ciento, pero la realidad es un tema que tendrán que ver directamente los delegados sindicales con las empresas para llegar a un bueno acuerdo. "El que se de a conocer sobre este incremento salarial de un 15 por ciento, no quiere decir que tenga que ser eso, mucho menos en el bono, esto de acuerdo a los artículos de la misma Ley de Salarios Mínimos y de las clausulas de los gremios sindicales", dijo. "Habrán quienes si van a poder cumplir con estas disposiciones y habrá quienes no, considerando que se ha pasado por una situación difícil económicamente hablando y en este 2021 aún seguirán los problemas en este sentido", agregó. García González indicó que en tanto hay confianza en que los trabajadores, sindicatos y empresas se van a poner de acuerdo con este incremento salarial, así como el bono a quienes les corresponda, ya que no todos tienen el mismo contrato colectivo.
