Well, I've finished lambing. Its been a wonderful week, starting with a first time mum last Sunday with a single large lamb. Since then, we've had 5 sets of twins, a set of triplets and another three singles. I've orphaned one of the triplets and he's doing great. I've also got a set of twins not doing fantastically so bottle feeding one, though hes still with mum for now....theres a few night feeds ahead of me. Pretty damn proud of how its turned out all in all. There's a single ewe due next month as her initial cycle was missed and another that might also be late, though I suspect she might be barren, sadly. This is little Esme, a Wiltshire Horn cross born in front of a large crowd earlier in the week.
