noelani furrowed her brows as she read the new notification. she was relatively certain that saying such a thing to any fae was not only incredibly insulting but dangerous. not so much because mal was a danger, but because many of the folktales she had heard informed her that they relied upon the belief of others to live. noelani’s brow remained furrowed as she hit accept, camera turned somewhat to record herself pouting,    “    why  is  it  all  my  dares  are  to  insult  people ?  this  hurts  them  more  than  it  hurts  me.    ”    noelani chastised as she sought out the purple fae child.

    “    mal ?    ”    noelani asked, tapping the girl on the shoulder. she smiled once she was face to face with her and resisted the urge to apologize,    “    i  don’t  believe  in  fai  —  oop  .  .  .  you.  i  don’t  believe  in  you.    ”

Yet, despite Mal asking her to stop, she doesn’t. She’d never been one to listen to just about anything that was told to her. Finally she looked over after she finished the sentence and a devious grin appeared on her features, she knew damn well what she’d done, going as far into details as she could manage just to make Mal uncomfortable. “I’m sorry,” Faux interest is clearly written on her face, “You were saying?”

      “     no,   you  have  to  come  !     ”      it  felt  as  though  mal  had  missed  out  on  so  much  recently,   and  without  reading  too  far  into  it,   he  wanted  to  bring  her  back  out  of  her  shell  a  little.  jay  and  evie  had  been  quick  to  jump  on  board,   and  the  day  they  had  planned  was  all  for  her.  carlos  was  not  afraid  to  resort  to  the  age  old  puppy  dog  eyes,   but  it  isn’t  his  first  tactic  :     hands  reach  for  hers  in  an  effort  to  haul  her  out  of  the  dorm  room.      “     it’ll  be  fun,   okay  ?  we’re  just  going  to  hang  out  like  we  used  to  !     ”
